Oh don't get me wrong, not everyone ages well or keeps their looks, especially when they were so beautiful as Sinead was when she was younger: but this is a complete shock.

Hell, if she is happy and content, that's the main thing in the long run - she had a lot of demons to cope with. That said, it's still a shock.

She was and her voice was amazing. She didn't have the best of lives though - some of what she went through when she was younger was not good.

All things considered, regardless of how she has changed: it would actually be nice if she felt truly comfortable in her own skin now - that's possibly a real positive for her - and if that's the case, well...,.... good for her. Shocked or not: I'd rather she looked the way she does now, if she is a contented lady. In the bigger picture: that's more important I guess.

It's been a disaster and, although she's only 45, it shows - she looks 10 years older ..... :eek:

I saw her in an interview a few years back and she seemed to be a lot more comfortable with herself as you say, but she did say it was still a constant struggle and always will be. Thats bi-polar I guess.

Understatment perhaps, but I'll hazard a guess that many members on here may not even know who she is, never mind know the hellish life she endured.

We aren't all blessed with trouble free lives - nor do we all cope well with it either. Sometimes it shows more on some than others. Must check out some clips, if she's still got that amazing voice.
