Your pet peeves!

I just heard somebody sneeze really really loudly. There is no need to be doing that so loudly! Honestly :bored:

What gets on your t*ts?!

Lee. 08-07-2011 07:38 AM

Dog owners who think its reasonable to take their dogs to the park and let them off their lead.

This is up there with one of my pet peeves - that and when they don't cover their mouth - happy to spray everyone within in 20feet radius with bits of snot, phlem, saliva. It's beyond disgusting.

My brother in general at the moment. He's 14, the age where he's annoying, hormonal and attention seeking all at once. I also can't stand moths in your room at night!

So ... Tibbs is like a home from home then!!! :joker:

I'd a moth in here the other night, and I swear, the noise it made as it was flapping/flying about bouncing off walls, lightbulb etc - it was like a bomber plane - feckin' thing was massive. :o

A rolled up newspaper came in very handy. *killer*

Actually it's not reasonable.

Parks are public places. Not all people like dogs, some are very afraid of them, some have phobias. Such people should not be put in a position where going to the local park is ruined by dog owners who don't keep their anmals on a lead.

Scott, don't be daft! Any dog off its lead where there are children is a danger. I just can't accept that anybody with half a brain can't understand that!

You were bitten by a dog recently... imagine if that had been a kids face!

Not reasonable.

Oh that's horrible Pyra! We have a large beautiful park here which is fantastic for its playpark, bike rides, picnics and walks but I just don't go near it anymore as every single time we've tried to spend a dat there, its been ruined by inconsiderate dog owners!

Hi Happy...not bumped into you for a while. Life is good I hope :)

Pet peeves....

People who use their mobiles on handsfree when they don't need to - ie; Apprentice contestant style. WTF is that all about. I see it and think, "What a feckin' plonker".

Queue Jumpers

Was queueing for the cash machine last week and a girl walked up to the guy at the machine, she knew him, they started talking about a night out they'd been on, but there were 4 of us queueing and when he had finished, she put her own card in the machine!!! The utter cheek. Grrr.

Seriously though, i hate this, it's something I would never do myself.

Also I have been in queues when another till opens and the people behind me quickly jump over to that one, thus getting served before me, when I have been waiting longer.

Ignorance is far too rife these days, or maybe I am too soft, but I was brought up to have manners.

I can't help but despise people who I feel have a limited or predictable sense of popular culture. You know ... the ones who genuinly believe The Hangover is the funniest film ever made, Arctic Monkeys & Calvin Harris represent the zenith of music and are well good, Michael McIntyre and Lee Evans are well funny, and that Harry Potter is da best book eva. Because they haven't read any other ones.

I hate bands where all the songs sound the same to me. Like The Foo Fighters, say. Just a noisy sort of arrangement of generic rock music.

I then hate people who still for some reason don't believe electronic music qualifies as being 'real music' because it doesn't involve a guitar.

I equally hate people who listen to nothing but chart music and those who won't listen to any pop at all on the basis that it's mainstream and their just too fucking hardcore.

I hate people on speed.

I hate how I generally give out the impression that I'm a negative bastard even though I fancy myself a positive soul. But alas I always end up finding it easier to complain and stuff. At least here.

I hate people who use the phrase 'politics doesn't effect me anyway'.

I hate people who don't like cats.

I hate it when people don't eat Spaghetti properly and slurp every strand. I also hate it when people use spoons to eat it. Its not exactly hard to twilr it round the fork. :bored:

Oh I forgot probably my biggest one of all ... and it's infestation is probably rife in TiBBland : Topman. In fact I threw it in Room 101 once.

The really Topmanish, obnoxious stuff. And more to the point the people who immerse themselevs in it and believe they are god's gift to a Friday night because they've mastered the fashion and lifestyle choice of blue pants, orange vests, fake converse, T-Shirts with 80's things on them ahahaha, big fuck off riddiculous plastic jewelry, T-Shirts about sex ahahaha, and all this other wank regalia.

Either dress like a man or go the full hog and dress like a woman. Don't linger in this weird sort of limbo where it feels alright to clad yourself with cotton prickness because you bought it in a men's department. The world isin't ready for you and you look like a prat.
