I said the same thing a couple of weeks ago and Patrick virtually shouted at me that it was months away yet and I was to be patient. I'm glad someone else feels the same way. :)

Mr CW 09-07-2011 04:11 PM

I agree. We surely should of heard something by now .

BigBroSite 09-07-2011 04:17 PM

I was ranting about this earlier.

It's ridiculous that they haven't given us ANYTHING yet!

Do they actually want people to watch this bloody show!?

Jords 09-07-2011 04:22 PM

Theres still about a month to go yet, another week and the info will start flowing in.

Keep your own opinion, dont be patient because he tells you to, everyone has their own opinion

This. And they have said news is coming really soon so..

Jarrod 09-07-2011 04:50 PM

Remember that were not really into the middle of July. I bet the news will start coming in after another Week or so :D

Lewis. 09-07-2011 05:31 PM

Maybe it's all a hoax and we've all been pranked.

I've been thinking this since April. They just seem so unprepared.

I think that they know they're gonna get a hell of a lot more viewers than what they would usually get for any show they've ever done and aren't bothering too much.

Doogle 09-07-2011 05:59 PM

Ikr, if I were them I'd be making sure it was amazing and what fans wanted, to ensure even more viewers tuned in. They're just turning more and more people away as the days go on. And all the "news" has been ****.

I agree. I love sitting down on launch night and not knowing anything!

jsd 09-07-2011 06:58 PM

I don't know what the rush is; look at the biggest show on TV - The X Factor, that leaves announcements to the very last minute and yet plenty of people still watch.

Most shows start promotion from about 3-4 weeks before hand once the TX date is confirmed. No point promoting something where and when you've no idea where viewers can watch it

happybbfan 09-07-2011 07:01 PM

send a direct link to channel5 and daily star about live feed here http://www.keeplivefeed.co.nr/ just copy and paste or add own message

But X Factor fans know the X Factor will be on and roughly around what time of year, there are Big Brother fans who dont even know the show has been renewed.

BigBrotherfan4ever 09-07-2011 08:58 PM

I really did think we start to get news & tit bits of rumors by now, considering it's launching on a other channel.

Do they need to know many weeks in advance?

As I said, almost all TV shows follow a 3 week schedule pre-TX and I dont see why Channel 5 won't be the same. There's sod all point advertising a show which has no confirmed start date or time - and even if it did, who - outside core fans, who don't need the ads anyway - is going to remember it?

People don't need to know. Viewers decide "Ohh, I'll watch/record that tomorrow/next week" etc. Very, very few viewers plan their TV viewing months in advance.

The promotion will 99% follow:

TX-3 weeks: "Coming soon"
TX-2 weeks: "10th August" (or whatever date it's launching)
TX-7-10 days: "Next Thursday" (e.g.)
TX-2-6 days: "This Thursday"
TX-1 day: "Tomorrow"

Me too, I am happy just to wait and even if we hear nothing really until a week before it comes on, I will still be happy.
