Do you like chavs?

They really annoy me, tbh.

Locke. 09-07-2011 07:29 PM

Depends what you mean. If you mean ones that stand around on streets robbing everyone and attacking people, then no.

If you just mean people that wear tracksuits and don't do any harm, then they are ok.

How do they annoy you? Do they poke you with big sticks or something?

Doogle 09-07-2011 07:30 PM

You know what I mean.

No, it's just the way they, like, proper reckon they're all that and all.

King Gizzard 09-07-2011 07:31 PM

No, theyre either up their shirt feeling their own nipples or down their trousers feeling their balls

Lewis. 09-07-2011 07:31 PM

If you're referring to the people that stand around on streets, making stupid noises at every one that walks by and being 'ard.. then no. But often people are put into that stereotype when they are not like these people at all.

Basically this (we call them neds though)

seanraff07 09-07-2011 07:33 PM

The ones with their hands down their trousers and all the rest of it are absolute twats.

Smithy 09-07-2011 07:34 PM

I don't even get why they put their hands down their trousers, it's not like it's gone anywhere

CharlieO 09-07-2011 07:34 PM

I dont like them. Some shouted at me on my cycle this morning.

I just find it stupid that they to be 'ard when actually you are just a fat twat.

Ninastar 09-07-2011 07:35 PM

You'd think the chavs and the goths/emos whatevers would hate each other but they were the best of pals at my school (cause of the weed, obviously)

Redway 09-07-2011 07:41 PM

You are all making really good points. The decent ones that you can actually talk to are bum; the anti-social ones with no swagger and who reckon they're all hard do my head in.

MB. 09-07-2011 07:41 PM

Scum of the earth. All of them. If they are decent and accepting then they are not chav, by cultural definition - just to save anyone the tired of argument of 'oh well there not all that bad'.

Chav is a mindset as well as a fashion statement.

Sawyer 09-07-2011 08:26 PM

Not in the stereotypical sense, no.

People who complain about their life, sponge off benefits and refuse to better themselves is a chav in my eyes. And when it comes to people like that, I can be quite snobby lol.

Bib the thing is people who claim benefits get as much as people on incomes , the reason they stay on benefits is there no incenitive to work. They have rent and polltax paid only have to pay water rates, electric and gas. Id like to know how people on benefits can afford all mod cons and the people who earn a decent living are struggling to hold down a job and earn enough to keep families, where is the mad smiley.

Marc 09-07-2011 08:39 PM

I wont lie, I feel intimidated by big groups of them! I used saw two guys who I used to play with in the summer holidays drinking from cans on the corner of one of the roads in my village and I just felt sorry for them [bit arrogant of me i know] but they just look like complete tools
