I didn't think I would be tbh as Channel 5 never stood out to me as being a "top channel" with "big name" celebrities on but the names coming out being rumoured to take part in CBB are impressive.

Boxers Mike Tyson and Ricky Hatton, TOWIE star Amy Childs, 80′s popstar Bobby Brown, X Factor twins Jedward, ex-Blue Peter presenter Andi Peters, singer Vanessa White and TV personality Carole Smilie

I know all of them which is something that never happened on C4. Like who the hell really knew who the likes of Heidi Fliess was without Google last time?

I'm officially excited. I know it's only rumours but y'know, it's a good start. :hugesmile:

Bobby Brown has been rumoured since 2007.

jeanoj on DS who has been quite reliable in the past for CBB signing details says Jedward, Natasha Giggs, Helen Wood and Boy George have signed and Mike Tyson is in discussions. Not sure I believe Mike Tyson would do it but I may be wrong.

Well as I said, Jeanoj is generally quite reliable for this stuff but I wouldn't get too excited just in case. I can't see Tyson spending a month in a foreign reality show for a few hundred grand.

I have high hopes too for a good CBB this time,often only a couple dominate but think they are going for a strong and more to the point varied line up that has been before.

Perhaps he would do it then. Just searched, he did the Italian version last year.

I knew of all 14 CBB5 HMs and 11 CBB6 HMs through one way or another, even the lesser known ones at the time, so I think those 2 series had impressive line-ups tbh was just a shame how they both turned out though. Whereas CBB3, 4 and 7 all had some people that made me go "Who?!?!?!" but those 3 remain my favourite 3 CBB series.

I really like the rumoured HMs this year and remember the earliest reported celebs included Mohammed Al Fayed, Joanna Lumley and Charlie Sheen? Somehow I could imagine any of them 3 actually doing it for whatever reason. The appeal for some of the CBB7 HMs was that it was 'the last one' so they understood that bosses wanted it to go out with a bigger, better or more famous lineup whereas this time the appeal is for it to start afresh and can also try and claim bigger names and personalities.

I can iamgine Tyson doing it because he's hasn't he had money problems for quite some time? He's had a bit of a comeback recently and I think The Hangover helped but I still think he's one of these fiery personalities that needs a bit more publicity to relaunch himself and rake in the ka-chingy

I also like that a few of the names rumoured this year are in the press atm because of scandals e.g. Natasha Giggs, Kerry Katona (even though she'll be cringeworthy) and Imogen (even though she was dull and boring and already done BB). BB needs to have that edge and controversy to make it a more adult show again. CBB7 generated some of it with Heidi Fleiss being a madame and the alleged fight between Dane and Alex a few days before launch

They are all celebrities in my eyes. I'm happy with them aswell

This. I also quite like the idea of Joanna Lumley, Ricky Hatton and Tinie Tempah as well. However, I don't think they will be able to get Tinie in the house to be honest...

In a funny kind of way even though jedward sicken me i would quite like to see them go in just to see them get destroyed for annoying people there would be someone there that would just pick them apart and make them cry like babys which would be fun to see :)
