According to @BBreturns who seem to be on the ball.

Finally! Loads of Big Brother news to be released next week. Guessing all the contracts & legal **** has been finalised

They have been tweeting alot today.....

They're doing things & I quote, 'a new way' die hard Big Brother fans need to embrace the changes

Re Live Feed - C5 truly believe that what they want to offer by way of You Tube, Facebook & Twitter will be better *needs convincing*

Eye appears to have been completed (not seen it) but doesn't take a genius to guess it'll incorporate the C5 logo

Jords 15-07-2011 08:53 PM

:amazed:

Cant wait! But the C5 logo in the eye? Meh.

WE NEED 24 7 LIVE FEED!! Not on chuffing facebook and twitter!!

If 24 7 live feed is available on youtube then that's fine!

Apparently Channel 5 are pulling out all the stops and putting serious effort into the youtube/facebook coverage and they honestly believe it going to be better?

Well it's not. A load of bollocks!!

Just give us LIVE 24 7 streaming. This is what we bloody need. Not just the 10 minute clips they want to show us on bloody facebook/youtube. PATHETIC.

24 7 LIVE FEED PLEASE!!!!!!!! They just want too much control :nono:

CharlieO 15-07-2011 09:09 PM

There is no way Facebook/YouTube will be as good as LF.

It may be better than we expect from crappy facebook but no way will it be better, no chance.

Nothing about BB on the front page:

http://news.sky.com/sky-news/content...3/16031363.jpg

They're running an advert at the moment for the Daily Star Sunday in an attempt to gain some of the News Of The World's lost readers

serensilver 15-07-2011 09:22 PM

I can understand that channel 5 wants to be different form the old BB and not "copying" it but life feed is needed in the night i think most would agree? I think i could go without it through the day as i work and others do etc but not to have any live feed would be a bad move by channel 5 in my opinion!

Maybe they are doing a youtube deal that is 24/7 live feed? anyone no!

But they need night time live feed from 10pm onwards til early morning i mean whats on 5* at that time anyway? surely they will get more viewers by putting BB live on???

Stu 15-07-2011 09:22 PM

Regardless of how much effort they put in they are high as kites if they think social network era OCD updates will make up for a simple, constant feed which is what people want. Why not JUST GIVE IT TO THEM.

As for the eye ... I can see the logic in it to be honest. Directly combine your new biggest show with the channel ident to increase brand awareness ... but in reality it will be a disaster if it is as literal as literal can be. Design wise it will look rubbish.

Well it's exactly a month to go on Monday, so I would be surprised if we didn't get news next week anyway.

He is in the know and very smart when it comes to Big Brother production. Take my word for it. He can be trusted.
