I always got the impression that she thought she was bigger than the show.

Gretel was hilarious, I don't think she particular loved Big Brother but she was definitely a funny girl.

She definitely came across as thought she was looking looking down on the housemates antics. She would always roll her eyes after each clip on uncut, very funny.

Gretel is my favourite host ever. She's a big reason as to why I watched BB6 and 7 Aus. I absolutely adore her - she inspires me. <3 It would be too perfect for her to host BBUK. :D

she would piss the viewers off big time. Of course, depending on which HM she was being obnoxious and opinionated about.

You're only judging her on that one video. She was defending the show. (Even though she was actually wrong and he was edited badly.)

That's a bad clip, and it was a mutual agreement that she leaves. On the finale of BB08 they even had a video message from her.

The ratings were dropping (not because of Gretel) and they wanted to freshen the show up.

tbh i beleave the raitings droped even more after they took gretel away from the show, and another thing @zippy this clip is perfect because it shows she had passion for the show.

I don't think having a passion for the show is everything. She has a job to do and needs to keep her composure. It just makes it uncomfortable for the viewers otherwise.

TBH she comes acrooss as a bit unhinged. Does she have a drink problem?

Gretel was scary. She was very argumentative with all of the housemates. I don't think the British public would like her.

Big Brother (the actual voice of the house) was also really scary and authoritative. BBAUS was way more intense than the UK version and the rules were way stricter.

I liked her, but I don't think she would fit with the UKBB. She's no Davina. Plus she lost her passion for the show years ago.
