R-I-P Amy - a Joe tribute

on the twenty third of July two thousand and elven,
tragic news a few weeks after the birth of Harper Seven.
a 27 year old is dead in a house in Camden town,
its that same lady that screamed Camden is burning down.
people are already judging and the press have convicted,
i no Amy had her demons, but its no easier because its self inflicted.
so young and talented, but her gift had no structure,
because of emphysema, her air sacks lacked oxygen, then the rupture.
at this stage we don't no if there's a link,
but it could not have been helped as of her battle with drugs and drink.
Amy has left 2 albums that are secure in our music bank,
back to black will always be played as well as frank.
a troubled sole, Amy i will pay tribute,
into the Hawley arms to raise a glass for your short life and for all what you did contribute.

I am totally against drugs. But what can I say to the so talented young lady who has gone now?

(I was surprised she only made two albums. )

Wow,a really good rhyme, I have a feeling even Amy would have been impressed,she'd likely have put music to that had she seen it.

hi sooster < the thing with the young is they have the mantality of it can not happen to me. and thats why drugs and drink will always thrive. it really is sad. but they do understand once they are older but its to late when there liver gives up etc.

as for you joeysteele - i dont think she would - maybe a slap and knock me to the ground and then spit on me for disrepecting her . but hey that would be amy through and through and i would take that as a complement and not a critic lol
