Any news on bb appearing on tv3/3e in Ireland.I havnt watched Tv3 so I havnt seen any trailers and the tv3 app on my iPod didn't work in Spain (here on hollyers)

GiGi 24-07-2011 11:26 PM

I haven't heard anything from either Channel 5 or TV3... looks like us Irish will have to just watch online! :-(

I hope not because tbh I probably won't watch it online,I mean an hour on the laptop is different to an hour on tv.

Last I heard TV3 were pursuing the rights to show it on one of their channels, was last week though so I don't have the link to hand sorry :P

Keep up hope tho lol, or you could always lodge with me until Christmas ;)

BB IRELAND??? No one will understand the houseguests. Unless they put up closed captioning.

I'm talking about bbuk appearing on tv3 in Ireland. Also the Irish accent isn't understandable, there's been an Irish person on bbuk nearly every year.AND THE HOST IS ****IN IRISH

ram513 25-07-2011 12:17 AM

you can watch it on this site can't you?
http://www.tvcatchup.com/

oh, i see, you'd rather watch it on telly
i don't think there's any news yet
but fingers crossed it will be on TV in Ireland :D

emmetmcl 25-07-2011 12:34 AM

There's been no adverts for it on TV3/3e yet anyway and there's been no news of it being broadcast in Ireland since the article a few weeks ago.

I don't think you can watch TVCatchUp from outside the UK without a VPN.

-Just hoping BBBOTS is on Channel 5 (rather than 5* or USA) as Irish can only Channel 5 (through Other Channels on Sky). Hoping live feed is online too so I can watch that.

It would be cool if Channel 5 let the Irish watch BB on Demand5 though.

Unfortunately my dad got rid of our sky and got UPC instead and there's no channel5 on UPC.We also aren't close enough to the border to get it via terrestrial overspill.

InOne 25-07-2011 01:02 AM

So it's not on TV in Ireland at all? D:

Jords 25-07-2011 01:06 AM

Is this Northern Ireland or Republic? Or both? lol

Niall 25-07-2011 01:07 AM

Nope,UPC uses fibre optic cables so it's channels can only be controlled by them.I miss sky!

'Conor 25-07-2011 10:26 AM

i have Channel 5 on my Sky, but its in other channels so like i cant record or shiz its annoying

emmetmcl 25-07-2011 01:03 PM

Yeah, you can tune in Channel 5 but you can't record anything from it.

Hopefully TV3/3e will buy the rights to it.

I'm only 20 minutes from the border and we can't receive it over analogue.

Iceman 25-07-2011 01:04 PM

It'll be on, they'd be stupid not to show it.

I only have free view but I have C5 on that, actually I only have it on my TV upstairs, I must tune it on the downstars telly still

Stu 25-07-2011 01:25 PM

UPC is pretty wank alright.

I always thought I was fine because I have Channel 5 on the box but I'm worried now that I wont get to see any live feed because I can't get that other Channel 5 one.
