1. Has got over 42,000 views in just 2 days.
2. I think it's the most watched BB advert ever.. and
3. Has an overwhelmingly negative repsonse from peple who have probably never watched it and think that it's gonna be sh*t.

I am just so confused as to why they are being so vicious with their comments, and why suddenly so many people are watching this 10 second advert....... Even saying that a show is crap is talking about it, giving it power by making it public knowledge? e.g I really dont like X factor, but most of my friends watch it so instead of insulting people about it i tend to just ignore it.

It's because it's on C5 as well it's gonna be well slated.

It's become 'popular' for people to dislike Big Brother so everyone just assumes its s*it without giving it the chance.

Ok I can some what understand complaining about it being on channel 4 if you don't 'like' it because channel 4 have a reputation for great television so in some peoples eyes there are better programmes they could be showing . But seriously there isn't anything better to show on channel 5 anyway. This is channel 5's biggest show and no one is forcing them to watch.

I was talking about Big Brother with a friend a few months ago and I was saying how good it is. He responded, as most people do, by saying something about him not wanting to watch people sleeping. I said it's not just that. I said the actual show itself is great. He continued to say it was crap and I actually asked him "When's the last time you watched a series, or an episode of Big Brother?" He replied by saying he had never watched an episode.

This is the point, people just think it's crap because everyone else does. I guarantee you most people who say the hate it has never watched it for a week, they may have watched a few minutes of an episode, but they don't give it long enough to get to know the people.

By polluting YouTube with asinine comments like that.

According to the press release 5, 5*, 5USA, online and his magazines, though more information on the marketing will be released later apparently so there will probably be outdoor ads too (C5 buy outdoor ads for their imports).

I wanted to look at the comments.

^ Why does everyone hate it that bad? I can't think of any other tv show which makes so many people post comments like the one quoted above. :hugesmile: I don't understand how it's gone from being so popular (BB1-BB7) to suddenly having everyone hate it SO MUCH.

It was more hated at it's height than it is now. A lot of that hatred has just turned to apathy.

It's always provoked a very strong sense of anger and frustration to those poor souls who are forced to watch it. I'm always amazed muck like the X-Factor hasn't become as hated.

BB doesn't lull you into a 'journey' and purport to be serving a purpose in life for finding lovely singers. It has no reservations about what it is. A house full of twats.

Also Big Brother to the best of my knowledge isin't playing any role in killing the music industry.

Some people think that every half-baked notion that enters their head is worth sharing with the world. Some of those people obviously haven't been on the course to show them how to turn the telly over.

Its just silly hate for the show. Its like everyone has started hating on the X Factor.

Half the people that are on there bitching will be sat at home on launch night with there chavvy children, dropping tobacco all over there tracksuit bottoms wondering why Davina's turned into a gay man.
