And you got this info from digital spy, however the info is wrong. The dog has moved on all of 5's channels which is good however its not in the 16:9 area. If it was there would be less of a gap in-between the edge of the picture and the dog itself.

This looks more like the dogs are in the 14:9 area to me, if you compare this channel to one of the UKTV ones for example you will see a similar sized gap and UKTV have confirmed that there dogs are in the 14:9 area on digital spy in the past.

So yes they have moved they have also toned the mains stations dog down a bit. Noticed this while watching the wright stuff but I was not near the computer at the time.

The milkshake dog has also changed, you know the one on there morning kids strand. The dog is in the same place as the channel 5 one is now and it has shrunk in size. It used to be massive. Its not anymore.

Its working fine, they are definitely not 16:9, and just as neighbours come back from its break the had an ad from a program called one year to go: building stratford.

I have give you an example go compare the 5 dog to yesterday channel you will see. For it to be 16:9 the dog is supposed to be further in the corner then they are.

*edit* first ad straight after is was air crash: heathrow emergency.

I am referring to the digital spy post that you got the information from. Its you thing. The info appears there first however on this occasion its wrong. Then you copy it.

But on this occasion if you have done original re search I would be very shocked.

Back on topic. Yes they have moved them, they have moved them for the better because they where too close to the centre before. I have noticed though when they show old 4:3 programming they go back to where they used to be. Then when its widescreen programs they shift back to the new place. So only watch widescreen programming on 5 in future I reckon. and surly viewers should be rejoicing that a channel stuck in the past has seen the light and started to move forward to the present.

Plus you only mention channel 5 in the title maybe change the title because its the milkshake, channel 5, 5* and 5 USA dogs that have changed. All of them

Its an acronym its not actually dog, its D.O.G and it stands for digital onscreen graphic.
