Now she is a porn star but the reason why she is a celebrity is because back in 1992 when she was 17 she shot Mary Jo Buttafuoco, the wife of 40 something Joey Buttafuoco who she was having an affair with.

Well Id say either her or Rachel Uchitel (already rumoured) will be on the next series, BB has a history of casting at least someone who has appeared in Celebrity Rehab.

and she was the best housemate of that series

I disagree. I hate it when people like that are rewarded for doing something they should be ashamed of, it sends out a really warped message imo Katia, rebecca loos are another two examples

I never get the logic of users who had liked a HM with a particular background/back-story and use that as a justification for having lots more with an equivalent background/back-story in subsequent times.

This mentalilty is similar to the logic the C4 producers seemed to use that destroyed the normal BBs - "aw well the public liked that wannabee airhead last year, we better cast more of them again........"
