Bioshock

I bought Bioshock 1&2 today along with a few other games on a splurge, I'm enjoying them a lot. Very atmospheric. I like coming across crowds and just throwing a lot of enrage plasmids about so they all just start attacking each other. I'm only about an hour into the first one so far though just got to Neptune's....something or other. I don't like Atlas he's a bossy little bitch.

I love these games :D Played all two.
Cant wait for the third one to come out its set in a city in the sky :)
Yea Atlas is bossy
Huge twist at the end of the game thought :P

Ramsay 28-07-2011 02:44 PM

Novo 28-07-2011 02:44 PM

jaybitches 28-07-2011 02:45 PM

i dont like you  but i agree with you on bioshock, it is one the best games ever made in my opinion

wait until you get to the fort frolic level and are introduced to sander cohen, then you may think bioshock = masterpiece of video gaming like many people do :elephant:

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 29-07-2011 05:33 PM

best game ever :worship:

Niall 29-07-2011 05:36 PM

Bioshock 1 & 2 are just fantastic games

Tom4784 29-07-2011 06:37 PM

I've just done the bit at the plaza with the artist, the Houdini splicers are so annoying. I think I can guess the plot twist a mile away though.

Spoiler:

Jack is Ryan's illegitimate son and Atlas has something to do with that Fontaine chap and probably just wants to usurp him to take his power or something. Don't tell me if I'm right though.

Atlas annoys me, I'm just like 'would you kindly SHUT THE F*CK UP!?'

Oooh I like that, I might have to make it my official ban gif.

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 29-07-2011 06:43 PM

have you been rescuing or harvesting the little sisters :suspect:

Tom4784 29-07-2011 06:45 PM

A mix of both, I've rescued more then I've harvested though.

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 29-07-2011 06:47 PM

i harvested them all in both games coz im that bitch

Livia 29-07-2011 07:17 PM

I played both Bioshocks recently and loved them both, although I preferred the first one. I rescued all the kids so I could get the gifts. Typical...

Grimnir 29-07-2011 07:25 PM

if you harvest all the little sisters you get more ADAM overall by the end and so can get ALL the plasmids

however if you save all the little sisters you can get ALL the tonics and extra goodies and achievements

plus you don't need all the ADAM anyway because its best to use chemical thrower for incinerate, electro bolt and winter blast, then you get 3 extra plasmid slots

when i finished i had every tonic, every plasmid except the 3 level 3 elementals and every achievement except 2 49/51 i think

so when i play next on hard i will have every achievement

it was funny because on last level i just spammed on the u invent just to get the achievement and left tons of ammo piled up around machine :joker:

plus the ending for saving them all is much much better than the ending for harvesting some or all

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 29-07-2011 07:27 PM

and they are so much cuter in BS1 they are all cute and podgy and have big eyes in BS2 they look kinda evil

Grimnir 29-07-2011 07:31 PM

Niall 29-07-2011 09:46 PM

I harvested none of them  I got the good ending

Tom4784 29-07-2011 10:17 PM

I just completed it.

Spoiler:

I did kinda guess it, Atlas was in a way working with Fontaine. The bit in the boiler room with the lights going on and off and the corpses moving gave me quite the shock. I got the bad ending, Not quite sure why though, I'll look it up later I think.

I quite liked it overall I think switching between guns and plasmids were a pain and I kinda wish you had some sort of radar system so you don't always get ganked but apart from that I enjoyed it a lot. I'll probably start the second one tomorrow.

Niall 29-07-2011 10:22 PM

The combat is much better in Bioshock 2. You can use weapons and plasmids simultaneously and don't have to switch.
