Amy Childs leaves TOWIE after bosses veto her plan to appear on Celebrity Big Brother
 

The Only Way Is Essex star Amy Childs - arguably the most popular character on the reality show - has apparently quit after bosses nixed her plan to appear on the relaunch of Celebrity Big Brother.
Amy, 21, has made no bones of her career ambitions and was offered a rumoured £200,000 to appear on the new Channel Five version of the reality show.
But ITV2 chiefs put their foot down as they don't want TOWIE stars appearing on other reality shows.

Don't see how TOWIE can criticize BB, considering it wasn't even able to make it onto one of the main five channels. Lets not forget even when it was axed, BB was still getting 3 times more viewers.

I can imagine a lot of the older viewers judging her and hating her because they don't really know who she is. She'd be really good for this show

And yes, it was Brian Bello who originally put forward the idea for an Essex version of the show called Totally Essex.

I'd love to see Amy on CBB, she's a very likable character and is really funny!

In April 2011, it was reported that former Big Brother winner Brian Belo plans on suing the makers of The Only Way Is Essex – claiming they "stole his idea".[90] Belo was in the original pilot of the show – provisionally titled Totally Essex[91] – alongside current stars Mark Wright, Sam Faiers, Kirk Norcross and Amy Childs.[90] Belo plans on suing his former manager and Lime Productions, which makes the show, for lost earnings of up to £100,000 a series.[90] The Sun reported that Belo had spent the previous two years working on an idea for a United Kingdom version of The Hills, with his manager successfully pitching the pilot to Lime Productions.[90] After not making the cast list, Belo believed he might be involved in producing the show, but was "cut" from the production entirely.[90]

I've only caught bits of towie it's not my kinda thing but amy did a stint on this morning summer last week! pretty and sexy she is but she's bloody thick. she didn't know what supple meant or any idea how big 2 inches is! for those reasons she'd make an ok housemate she'd make me laugh, whether that's with her or at her though i'll let you decide :elephant:
