Hope it's true!

The article in the Daily Star...

HELLRAISER Charlie Sheen is lined up to enter the Big Brother house as part of a £6million deal.

Channel 5 bosses have stumped up a wallet-busting budget to lure Sheen and some of the biggest names in showbiz for their new-look reality series.

And the wild actor is their most “box office” housemate to date.

Sheen, 45, is due to jet to Britain in the next two weeks after agreeing a lucrative deal to appear on the show.

Bosses are convinced Sheen’s Celebrity Big Brother involvement will make it “unmissable TV”.

He has stolen the headlines since he was sacked from his role in hit US sitcom Two And A Half Men in March.

Sheen was fired from the £1.2m-an-episode role over his cocaine binges and sex romps with porn stars.

Since then he has been snapped drinking what he called “tiger blood”, waving around a machete and partying with a string of sexy models.

Among the babes were then live-in girlfriends Natalie Kenly and porn star Bree Olson, both 24, who he convinced to snog each other on stage during his recent one-man show, Violent Torpedo Of Truth.

A telly insider said Sheen would make CBB the hottest show on the box. “It would be unbelievable,” said the source. “A producer’s dream.

“No-one would want to miss the chance of seeing what he’s up to and hear the wacky things he’s saying. And let’s face it, he’s been saying some crazy stuff recently.”

Other names linked to the show, which starts later this month, include Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson, 51, TOWIE star Amy Childs, 21, and boxing legends Mike Tyson, 45, and Ricky Hatton, 32.

A Channel 5 spokesman said: “Big Brother execs are in talks with a number of celebrities about appearing on the series but we’re not confirming any names at the moment.”

Daily Star Exclusive- Charlie Sheen is going in!

Let's not forget Five has the rights to this paper, so it's likely!!

Maia 31-07-2011 10:33 PM

Sincerely hope this is true.

Vicky. 31-07-2011 10:33 PM

Shouldnt everything the star says be true now?

Edit. In terms of BB, not life

Marsh. 31-07-2011 10:33 PM

Bet it's for a mural on the wall or something. Or a cardboard cutout.

If it's true then kudos to channel 5 they just found a ratings grabber. Although Charlie's not as "big news" here as he is in the States, is he?

Jords 31-07-2011 10:35 PM

Dont really know who he is..

CharlieO 31-07-2011 10:35 PM

Doubt it but if it is true that would be HUGE news. Would drive in so many viewers as well.

Boothy 31-07-2011 10:36 PM

That would be incredible.

I doubt he'd want to go in though.

bbfan1991 31-07-2011 10:37 PM

Would be a better housemate than what Jermaine and Latoya Jackson turned out to be, crazy dude though but i'm taking press rumours with a pinch of salt:).

Not really - they said we'd get live feed and that's not looking very likely :p

Lewis. 31-07-2011 10:39 PM

Would be a laugh I think.. hope it's true!

*mazedsalv** 31-07-2011 10:41 PM

And to anyone that says "The Star have got it always wrong", let's not forget Desmond owns the paper and Five, so it should actually be true.

Shaun 31-07-2011 10:41 PM

rofl sure

Locke. 31-07-2011 10:42 PM

Would be amazing, but there is no chance.

Not only does he not need to, but he is starting to make his new show very soon, so probably wouldn't be able to because of scheduling conflicts.

joeysteele 31-07-2011 10:43 PM

I could definately believe that one.

He does need it at the moment, he said he was broke, and what better way to launch a new show than appearing on a reality TV show, also as I said, Desmond owns them both.

Stu 31-07-2011 10:44 PM

I really hate these 'well Richard Desmond owns the Daily Star, bro!' arguments. He owns the property, yes. He doesn't pen articles himself and nail them to the doors of the offices whilst cackling like a rich bastard. Nothings stopping some hack journalist from doing the same hack articles they've always done. I doubt anyone higher up on the Dickie Desmond chain of command would give a rats ass. Not everything goes through Desmond.

He was broke before his tour of America, before the comedy central one off show, and before his new show..

The show has only just started filming I think, so won't be finished by the time big brother starts

Marsh. 31-07-2011 10:48 PM

I was just about to post I heard he'd landed a new show. Doubt he'd have time to do it, and if he did I don't think BB would have the budget to cover how much someone like Charlie Sheen would be asking.

Joelle. 31-07-2011 10:52 PM

Hope this is true. If he is going in its mainly because of his recent personal problems, but he is a successful actor so at least he actually can be called a 'celebrity'

LaLaLand 31-07-2011 10:55 PM

That would be actually amazing! Think of ratings!

the_last_remaining_fan 31-07-2011 10:55 PM

If it was bullsh*t i dont know why they would fill half the cover with it, but i guess we shall see.
