"Paddy will have to get used to a house on Big Brother," an insider told the paper. "But he is up for the challenge of doing the reality show and can't wait to get involved."

Amy Childs, Kerry Katona and Sarah Ferguson are among those who have been linked to Celebrity Big Brother, while claims Charlie Sheen would appear have been denied by his representatives.

A show spokesperson added: "Executives are currently in talks with a number of celebrities, but we're not confirming any names at the moment."

Celebrity Big Brother, hosted by Brian Dowling, kicks off on Channel 5 later this month.

I wouldn't normally like to see people like him in the house. However, seeing as he's one of the "stars" of Channel 4's new biggest show and this would essentially be a middle finger up at them, I'm all for this happening :laugh:
