I got caught up in the London Riots in Croydon last night and today...

It was so scary.

Sunday night i was in a club, then at about 11pm the bar staff and the bouncers took us all down to the basement - we were there for like an hour whilst they wrecked upstairs. We went upstairs and the place was trashed, we legged it home as fast as possible.

Today, i went into work (New Look in Croydon), and we had to shut the shop 2 and a half hours earlier - just for precautions and the police warned us. We got out of work at around 8pm, by then Croydon was going mad, gangs everywhere, places were already on fire! I couldnt get transport home so i had to walk through all this madness to get home.

It was scary and ive never seen anything like it in my life. I was scared for everyone's safety.

It originated in Tottenham, due to a man's untimley death, due to anger of the police and the UK government, now its become an excuse to loot, an excuse for bored teenagers to cause disturbances. People are blaming the police for 'not doing anything' when really, what can they do? they cant stop youth's in which they are outnumbered by.

Everyone just needs to stop and take a deep breath, maybe all this terror and horror will end up in the government actually listening to its people, or this will remain the same.

Who knows.

I hope all you londoner's on here are okay.

Actually if the government 'listens' to this is will do more bad than good. If the government gives in to this its basically the end of all authority they had because then people will know all they have to do is riot and they will get their way.

Its going to happen again today - i went to the clean up today and it was really quite a shocking site.

My local shop's have just been set alight and theres lots of youth's around the area.
It is quite bad.

Stay inside people!

Christ on a bike I'd have been passing bricks if I was caught up in it, unimaginable.

I'm glad I live out in the wilds almost at times like this, good to hear you're safe!
