Do you hope there's less unnecessary boo'ing this year?

I do.

It annoys me how the crowd just like boo'ing everyone, even (at times) the WINNER of the series.

I mean, I know the Celeb version isn't bad really with booing on launch night, but as soon as a girl gets out of the car who looks like a "model" she gets booed?

Crowd reaction should be 100% based on the content of the VT and not "she looks like a slag", "he's fit"etc.

Do you see where I'm coming from?

I'm sick of it now, it got boring.

MusicMan 12-08-2011 02:54 PM

I don't like the booing :(

Unless they're a proper proper villain person!

ArcticLion 12-08-2011 02:55 PM

No i think the booing and the cheering is part of Big Brother

Firewire 12-08-2011 02:57 PM

I like the booing if the housemate deserves it, but not if the housemate was boring. That is completely unnecessary.

LaLaLand 12-08-2011 02:58 PM

I LOVE when 'villains' get booed... not when someone who has done nothing to deserve a negative reaction gets booed... pointless.

Completely agree. Last year was just ridiculous. No one was a villain and almost every housemate was booed.

The Winner of the series is usually ******ing hated by the public anyway, they're only crowned the winner by the arseholes at home who like nice people.

So I was glad when Josie got booed last year abit, showed her that no one ******ing wanted her there.

Also, I remember in BB9 when Rachel got booed like mad and during her interview the crowd were like 'DARNELL DARNELL DARNELL!' and just chanting over Rachel's words.

I don't know why they did that though - LOL of all housemates, maybe it was because Darnell gave an awesome interview and the audience realized they made a mistake by not crowning King Darnell as their winner.

I think Sophie was the only winner to be universally liked by everyone in the past few years.

I think it should be a rule that only Jedward should get booed this year. On both Launch night and when they get kicked out =)

For the regular series yes I do hope theres less booing.
I dont like the booing at all if they were the "villian" or not.

Really? Josie was not booed, and I don't even like her. Also the crowd warmed a lot to Rachel during the interview. Also I'm sure the only thing they were chanting in the interview was "Jealous, Jealous" when Luke was talking.

yes i do hope theres less booing it's pathetic, especially last year when housemates like ife and rachel got booed when they did nothing bad

armand.kay 12-08-2011 05:43 PM

even when its a villan i dont like booing only the bitches ,fame *****s and bastards should get booed but if it is someone who had a game plan (which they let the public in on ) then they should not get booed !

Sophiee 12-08-2011 05:45 PM

yes! it's unnecessary to boo every housemate, hope it's different this year!

Eww Sophie was a bore. But BB10 and BB11 were just terrible finals.

It was just funny and unpredictable when Rachel won BB9. lol

But I do hope we get more of a deserving winner for BB12. Someone who is entertaining!

Anyway I love the boos and cheers!! BB pussy foot around and don't want them to be heard. They better not play any stupid music again when the doors open!!

I do agree that most just get booed. But god.. it's only boos/cheers. Not gonna kill ya! You shouldn't go into BB if you cry about the boos and cheers!!

Ife and Racheal shouldn't have got booed. I did like them both. Rachael was robbbed going first week. However they were kind of "meh" characters in a way. If the characters are "meh" they will just get booed.

We need stronger more opinioned characters who we will remember and who actually get strong cheers/boos!

Anyway the audience nowadays is just a bunch of chavs. If you are booed, seriously, don't take it personally. lol

armand.kay 12-08-2011 06:11 PM

who dint get bood last year !

Doogle 12-08-2011 06:33 PM

If there was no save and replace Dave might've been out in week 1 :p

Saph 12-08-2011 07:44 PM

The eviction crowd just want an excuse to boo

Blog Rider 12-08-2011 07:50 PM

It will be better without a eviction crowd of chavs, Anyone caught booing should be thrown out :)

Sophie:love: loved her

Although i was a fan of Josie's I'm not gunna sit here & say she is one of the best Housemates ever as she wasn't. BB11 was poor, although tbf Josie did get her name Chanted & was cheered very loudly throughout the whole final & from what i remember Darnell was actually booed louder than Rachel.

mymidas 12-08-2011 08:04 PM

I hate the booing when somebody has entertained us for week after week they could be a villain, or a hero or just keen to be involved it doesn't matter they deserve a little appreciation.
I do have one exception those that hide in the background for week after week and then suddenly jump out and shout tada. Booing is too good for them maybe rotten vegetables thrown
instead.

seanraff07 12-08-2011 08:12 PM

Depends really, if I hate the house mate then I love the boo'ing, then other way round if I really like the house mate.
