Health and Safety Violations
Sorry but it has taken me a while to set this up, plus my involvement with BB7 may be curtailed.
This is a list of H&S violations where HMs are put in harms way.

Shabaz's inclusion. How come he managed to fool the screening process, by his own admission
Nikki early on managed to injure her foot on the diary room door
Denial of toilet paper for a week - this will be a health hazard
Big Brother seems, yet again, to fail in its duty of care. Any way they can be reported to the HSE or EH? |
well glyn said last nyt he was constipated and imogen hasnt been for 5 days so toilet paper seems 2 be not an issue
|
But even the fact that they are not addressing the constipation is an issue. Constipation if allowed to carry on can be pretty nasty and very painful!
I think it is terrible to deny them toilet paper! |
Toilet paper is bad for your bum as it can cause hemorroids! They can perfectly wash themselves after going to the loo!
As for Nikki hurting her foot, she is a hazard to herself and everybody else because she never pays attention to anything, apart from herself in the mirror - she almost set fire to the kitchen by putting oil to heat in the wok and not looking after it! And Shabaz did not harm anyone as they grouped to bully him in the end! |

My point about Shabaz was that he should have been screened out, for his own good, which is what they claimed they did with potentials in "How Not to Get on Big Brother"
|
Every BB, there is a toilet paper issue, and BB always gives them chance to win some items they are deprived of, and this year will be no different
|
That's not all. The house is FULL of life threatening hazards!!! I agree Sticks, like you I think HSE and EH officers should swoop on the house in a dawn raid and arrest all involved in the production of Big Brother. As well as the awful toilet paper issue and the incredibly life threatening dangerous door they may also like to take note of the following:
The windows are made of dangerous glass substance; anyone could run flat out into them and break the glass causing a cut. There are also items of METAL cutlery in there. A lunching accident could all to easily cause a cut. The laminated instructions that they are given are inside paper envelopes, careless opening could cause a paper cut to any housemate opening the envelope. The beds are at least 24 inches off of the floor. A small rolling movement in the night could cause falling issues. This could result in bumpage. The sun is clearly visible from the garden. Any housemate could easily stare at the sun for an hour or so and this could cause eye damage to occur. But worst of all, how about the mental cruelty of forcing people to live with Nikki the vile, tantrum throwing, troll... that's well out of order. |
Why do I get the impression that someone is not taking this issue seriously
Remember when Elizabeth seriously cut her hand and feinted in BB2 and Bubble did his leg in (Paul did his leg in IIRC) Oh I also seem to remember from this one that there was almost a catrastrophic accident when Pete fell down the stairs. |

However, if all HMs were tied to a chair and tube fed for the duration it would greatly reduce the risks of them stumbling or tripping. These are very important points that sould not be taken lightly; maybe they need to be raised with the producers of the program. |
The toilet paper issue is just out of order. Why don't the producers give them a sponge to share between say three people.
The romans used this method for years, it would be great to see their reactions if FAILING to acquire toilet paper they would recieve a sponge on a stick per three housemates instead. They are not denied food or water. They can leave any time. Constipation is caused by their own lack of prowess in the kitchen it's not up to Big Brother to ensure all housemates can cook for themselves. What is the bigger cause for health and safety issues is the complete state of the house, and the clothes left to fetter on the floor for days at a time. As an aside, why are housemates allowed to smoke in the house? Few office workers today have smoking rooms, those that do are in the minority and will probably have the entire building a no smoking area before too long. Yes I'm a smoker but I wouldn't smoke in someone elses house if they didn't want me to. Kick em out into the garden, it's just politeness after all. |
Oh who cares....
If they watch what there doing and complete the tasks properly, there wouldn't be a problem. |
They got the toilet rolls tonight BTW
|
I reckon they should be given their fruit & veg. 5-a-day the Tesco ad says.. so give em some oranges!
