SHE'S been on a roll since signing for Celebrity Big Brother - but Amy Childs is worried she's made a terrible mistake.
The former The Only Way Is Essex babe seemed happy enough as she turned up to a photoshoot yesterday with her hair in rollers.

But she's admitted she fears her career now hangs in the balance after quitting the Bafta-winning telly hit last month.

Amy, 21, will enter the CBB house on Channel 5 on Thursday night but she confessed: "I've been feeling quite panicky, wondering if I've done the right thing. It's going to be really hard when TOWIE is back on and I'm not part of it."

The beautician, who recently started hosting her own fashion slot on ITV1's This Morning, had claimed the show was holding her back.

She said: "I'm worried everyone's thinking, 'Oh, she thinks she's too big for the show', but I don't think that at all."

Amy insisted her former ITV2 cast mates had been supportive and she thinks Mark Wright, 24, will follow in her footsteps.

She said: "Mark said he thinks what I'm doing is really good. I've got a feeling he'll be next to leave."

But she was annoyed at James "Arg" Argent, 22, telling TV Biz the show would be better without her. Amy told new! magazine: "I was p****d off when he said that."

The only worry Amy's Essex pals Maria Fowler and Lauren Goodger, 24, might have had were sore heads.

They spent Sunday celebrating Maria's 25th birthday at the Nu Bar in Loughton.

I don't think Amy thinks she is bigger than TOWIE at all. Her and the others are probably not getting paid that much for TOWIE.

Amy has made the right decision taking up the 250 grand offer for BB. I think the TOWIE producer should let her back on the show. It's their loss obviously!

Ooo she said Mark might follow in her footsteps. Like I said.. I wouldn't be surprised if Mark made a last minute decision to quit TOWIE and go into CBB.

Unless Mark waits for the January version but people might have stopped caring about TOWIE and that by then. He best do it now or never. **** TOWIE and take the easy money! :hugesmile:

Both Amy and Mark will get some modelling deals after BB anyway at least. And they could both do a 2012 calendar. Maybe even a perfume/aftershave!

They only get paid 50 pounds a day :/

In the long run she has probably made the wrong choice, but short term shes probably done the right thing.

She made a smart decision. Why continue on a show she's making basically no money off of when she's been given an offer to do a show that's going to pay her hundreds of thousands of dollars.

I will definitely miss her on the show though. Maybe she will come back for Season 4. It won't be the same without her tbh, she's the biggest star.

I think she's made the best decision as well.

50 pounds a day or 250,000 for a three week stint sitting in a house? Hmm, let me think :p

How long would it actually take her to earn £250k when she's on £50 a day? She'll get plenty publicity once she's out the house too
