Why are people referring to Sam as a her?
 

The official website says 'he' and 'him'
No-one called Pete Burns or Kemal her.
Sam is officially a boy.

Yes but he likes to live his life as a woman. So he likes to be called a she i would of thaught.

Anyone can look pretty in an ad. Even Nadia. With a lot of airbrushing and computer special effects and optical illusions. Oh, and everyone else saying she is really cool, so it is good to find her attractive.

He seems like a very twisted housemate and when they find out it is actually man....people might look at him differently if you get what i mean.
