Fergie's New Generation!

The great man has done it again just going by the team last night which had an average age of just 23

De Gea
Smalling Jones Evans Fabio/Raf
Nani Clerverly Anderson Young
Rooney
Wellbeck/Hernandez

Also look out for Ryan Tuncliffe and more so POGBA who will be the best cm for years to come

We are going to walk the league this year and for many years to come

Locke. 23-08-2011 12:59 PM

Welbeck played well I didn't really rate him beforehand. Jones is good aswell. I think De Gea is awful though, kept a clean sheet last night but made loads of mistakes yet again

Locke i was actually very impressed with him last night after the media had set light to him for the last week. His distribution is 2nd to none his catch and throw to Anderson set up the 2nd goal and his kicking is ****ing amazing. He dealt with the long shots a lot last night and other than the dropped catch for Defoe's shot was as save as houses

The boy is only 20 and can not speak a word of English just give him time once he adapts to the EPL this boy is going to be amazing

Also may i say if Capello has any sense whatsoever he will give Smalling and Jones some time together before 2014 because they really are AMAZING

Cut the lad some slack, he had a better game for United last night but there were a few wobbly moments yes and he seemed more confident.

He's 20, needs to adapt to a new country and learning the language to communicate with his team mates. De Gea will make mistakes at first but he has the talent to learn from them and improve, if SAF has seen something in him to develop than going for an experienced GK, then it shows he is looking to the future in that position long term.

Players like Reina and Cech were good when they came to the GK but I bet they made some mistakes at first and didn't become world class overnight like they are now.

The potential of these young players for United is exciting:).

Chelsea and Manchester City are making a big mistake not bothering with their youngsters and just keep going out to buy everyone:nono:.

Yes Locke cut the lad some slack

Locke. 23-08-2011 08:09 PM

The lad needs to sort his act out he can't be playing for a team wanting to win the league and acting like Heurelho Gomes

True but Eric Steele and the coaches are doing a good job. SAF is a ruthless manager but has faith in the ability of DDG and the players are behind him. Shame some people want him to fail already.

He's got more work to do but once he settles into how the game is played here he'll be fine.

Novo 23-08-2011 08:16 PM

Tbh Mcgregor is a lot more suited to the EPL then De Gea and he's a much better shot stopper, penalty saver, long kicker and commands his area a lot better then De Gea the only weakness to his game is coming for balls from crosses and they could have got him for about 8 Mil as well ( Not that i want him to leave and i doubt he would off either but they should have at least enquired about him )

Legend killer 23-08-2011 08:30 PM

Fergie should have went after Given aswell. Than he could have had Given as number 1 and slowly brought De Gea into the team allowing him to get use to the EPL aswell as learn the Language

But you need to watch out for POGBA he is 10x the player that Cleverly and Ando are should hopefully get some CC and FA cup games this year

Novo 23-08-2011 08:43 PM

Don't know why everyone rates Given so much what has he ever achieved?

Legend killer 24-08-2011 02:01 PM

Given has apart from VDS been the best keeper in the EPL for the last 10 years. If he had played for a better team and country peeps would be ranting and raving about him

Novo 24-08-2011 04:49 PM

Very overrated

Legend killer 24-08-2011 08:06 PM

^^^ That is one of the stupidest comment's i have ever heard. How can you suggest that Given was OVERRATED

I think Given is a fantastic goalkeeper.

Look at Ali Al-Habsi and Asmir Begovic at Wigan and Stoke respectively. They haven't really achieved a whole lot in terms of trophies but both were marvellous for their clubs last season.

Legend killer 03-09-2011 05:24 PM

Oh **** i don't know how i forgot Morrission replace him with Tuncliffe as a player to watch. Morrisson is fuken amazing and if he gets his head straight and stay away from gangs etc will be a first team player by next year

Him and Pogba are the ones to watch for

Dilligaf 12-09-2011 05:05 AM

I think back to the early 90's and watched in awe as the ManU kids tore everyone apart. Now it is looking like they are going to do it again.

It comes to something when Rooney is the elder statesman in the driving force. I'm not sure ManC have the money to out-buy and out-manage the talent that is coming through at Utd at the minute.

Time will tell

Grimnir 13-09-2011 06:43 PM

my team is just slightly different, not a fan of evans
da silva twins either side gives good balance too

de gea
rafael smalling jones fabio
