The merge of serious debates and news stories
 

I have been noticing a lot of...lets say...non-stories posted in here.

Whilst the two forums have been merged, this is still primarily, for serious discussions. For example, news about the riots, murders etc, etc.

Not for news such as 'a kangaroo is caught making crop circles' and things like that.

Whilst those are technically still news stories of they are in the papers or on tv, they arent really the kind of thing we need in this forum, and they belong in general chat :thumbs:

Celebrity news belongs in the celebrity news section also, which can be found here :)

I don't see why people need to post that nonsense anyway. I don't care if a small child befriended a penguin and together they brainstormed a cancer vaccine whilst trapped in a lift.
