Talk Football Here... - Part 6

LOL

Mancity were losing, now drawing..

To a fulham team with about 2 first team players.

Man city cant beat fulham reserves.

30stone 23-09-2009 09:21 PM

Ronaldo is on fire.

King Gizzard 23-09-2009 09:23 PM

most if not all of the big premiership teams are left in the competition, there are going to be some good ties when they do the draw on saturday

30stone 23-09-2009 09:25 PM

Yeah for sure..

Im hoping to draw Scunthorpe... guarantee'd we will draw chelsea though and lose.

Or ****ing city.

King Gizzard 23-09-2009 09:27 PM

relax sir benjamin of reading

30stone 23-09-2009 09:30 PM

Its just typical of us.. i think arsenal have awful luck usually.

And i wish vela would get played more hes a great player. Big difference maker against west brom.

a team that beat middlesbrough 5 - 0 a few days ago couldn't beat 8 teenagers a 20 year old, a 24 year old and a 32 year old. I am quite happy with that though.

King Gizzard 23-09-2009 09:33 PM

You will draw stoke

30stone 23-09-2009 09:37 PM

****

Man City scored Toure :nono:
111 mins
2 - 1

Lucky goal against fulham youth..

And i hope so, as long as we dont draw a top half prem team ill be happy, but it wont happen.

Bored and looking through news...

Bordeaux manager has lashed out at Wenger for unsettling his striker Chamakh over this summer, Wenger looks to make a new bid in January for him.

Hangeland has been linked with arsenal again, for me its just paper talk though..

Arsenal to make clever 13m loan - back move for hazard.
Arsenal will buy him at 13m and loan him back for a season, lille know he will leave at some point, and this is probably their best option.
Hazard is apparently excited to be linked with Arsenal. And said the Dream would be to play for either Arsenal or real, and has been praised by zidane.

Jay Simpson scored twice against Cardiff, for QPR on loand from Arsenal vid of goals here.

Both Liverpool and Arsenal are reportedly monitoring the progress of Ajax’s Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez and even Barcelona are now taking an interest. Given that the 22 year old has scored 14 goals in his first nine games of the season.

30stone 24-09-2009 08:39 PM

Ajax Record 71 games 49 goals.

International (given hes only 22) 23 games 11 goals.

Ohh right so how come he was allowed to transfer so late?

And same as me.

King Gizzard 24-09-2009 08:46 PM

The transfer window shuts..then a few weeks late the free transfer deadline shuts...then you can loan players for a while before it shuts

30stone 24-09-2009 08:54 PM

Ohhh right fair enough whens that close?

King Gizzard 24-09-2009 08:54 PM

From Arsenal.com

'Hodgson is one of the top English managers'

Arsène Wenger has declared that Roy Hodgson is one of football's top English managers.

Arsenal take on Hodgson's Fulham on Saturday and ahead of the Premier League clash Wenger insisted it is no surprise the 62-year-old has been linked with managing the proposed British side at the 2012 Olympics.

"There's no surprise at all," said the Arsenal manager. "Because I believe that he's a man of intelligence and of big experience."

Hodgson has previously managed several clubs including Blackburn Rovers and Inter Milan, as well as the Switzerland and Finland national teams.

When asked if the Fulham boss was one of the best English managers in the game, Wenger was unequivocal.

"Yes, of course he's among the top English managers," he said. "You look at his CV.

"I believe as well this is a job where you consider the lengths at a top level of a manager to consider 'is he top level or not'. I believe he has [spent] a long time at the top level. That's the most difficult thing."

Kevin Keegan plans to sue Newcastle for 18m. He has been owed 9m for a while and so is now sueing for double. This will put them completely out of business for a while.
