Name Tags - Needed or Not
 

Hi, anyone else like me in feeling that still dont get the need for those stupid pop-up names that come on screen, I mean ffs Channel 5 its DAY 10 we know who EVERYONE is so stop with them please.

In BBUSA the housemates names ONLY appear when they are in the diary room.

So are they needed now.

I dont even notice them anymore tbh :/

They are not needed no. Not many had a problem with remembering the names before.

Are you blind Vicky lol, they are pissing me off now to the point I could literally throw the remote at the TV ;)

I obviously see them...what I meant is they dont bother me at all and I pay no attention to them.

They said they'll keep them so new viewers don't get confused... chances are by now they don't plan on ever watching!

I think its just Channel 5 Charlie they have cheap and tacky going through them like a stick of rock from down the prom (Blackpool). Why they even introduced them is ludacris we never had them before so why now.

Their needed!!


Now when i talk to my nan about big brother, atleast she knows who im on about when she watchs it for a show..

Its better for people who don't watch it from the start, meaning that you can join in half way through the [series](Don't know what to call it...) and still have a understanding of who the people are

I don't notice them and they don't impact that much on the show but that's ... sort of an argument for why they really aren't needed, isin't it.

I watched BB10 and 11 from half way through as I was never in the country when it began and never had a problem once.

Maybe you're brainer than some of the people who may not work their names out?

Well I will accept that I am more intelligent than the majority of BB viewers. ;)

You and me both Charlie, I missed about 4 weeks of BB10 and had no trouble knowing who was who, if people cant get the names within a few days they are as dumb as they look

and they'd definitely be handy for normal BB. At least for a couple of weeks.

Not needed but I dont mind them anymore.

It doesn't bother me in the slightest, but they are likely to be useful to those who are new to it or have a tough time remembering names. For those who don't have this problem, it's not that big a deal to have a name on the screen for a couple of seconds.

I hardly notice them at all now, doesn't spoil my viewing at all, also though as I said on another thread on this, I have some very elderly Aunts who watch BB and they have great problems remembering names and identifying people and the name tags have been a massive bonus for them so I voted yes to them being necessary.
