Is it just me or do the housemates and BB pretty much waste food on most episode?

For Goodness sake, we've had to watch housemates 'suffering' for the past 6 Years - this is how it was in the good old days - them just having a laugh and not taking it seriously.

It was great TV, this is great TV but it's being watched by a bunch of prunes who want the housemates to behave properly, look after themselves, clean up and cry all day about how hard the house is.

That's dull.

I'd rather watch them drink booze alot, wreck the house, flood the place, argue and bitch with eachother and have a great time because that makes for a great series.

I think the OP was actually referring to the fact that their are people all around the world who struggle to survive every day, and the housemates need to be a little bit more appreciative of the food that they have. It's great to watch the mess and chaos going on but very unethical to see it happening and being wasted. [/oldmanmode]

I don't think Tara and Pamela eat much anyway.Pamela's daughter asked her on the phone "Are you eating?"
Did you notice Tara's plate tonight? she had hardly eaten any of it.
Celebs don't eat,frightened of putting on weight.
By throwing it around they hope people won't notice they haven't eaten.

I don't think anywhere else on TV have I ever seen so much food wasted over 'all' the BB series, there are always food fights,and milk and drinks too, so this series is little different' However the next worse culprits must be the food programmes on TV too, where bits are eaten but the rest not.

Since its the kind of daft slapstick occurence that has been in every BB since it likely started,(I didn't really see the first 2 series), it's hardly going to change now.

I have to say Jedwards toast tower looked quite good,how much toast and therefore food was wasted by that guy on BGT who was doing the portraits of people with it,in the name of entertainment.

To be fair, when i heard him say that, my jaw literally dropped. I can;'t believe he would say something like that. He deserved the pitcher of water and the subsequent fgood fight.
