Channel 5 ARE Listening
 

Ok let's put aside the live feed thing for a moment, because I don't want to get into that can of worms in this thread.

But apart from that I think people who give constructive critism are being listened too.

We complained about the montage editing. They toned it down.

We wanted vote to save. They gave it us.

We wanted Marcus to go back to just stating facts and being less "cheeky" and for the most part he has.

We wanted longer exit interviews and for the main show we will get them (albeit at 11pm, so not many people will see it.)

And now after people said about not hearing the crowd reaction during last weeks Sally eviction, they waited to turn the music on until Pamela she was at the stairs.

Now it is still not perfect and there is still a lot that can be improved on. And I totally understand those who are not watching due to the "Jedward Show." But those who watched the first couple of highlights and turned off because the above need to give it a second chance. Perhaps when the main show starts. Because in my mind the show is almost identical to the original other than the opening few seconds and during tasks (the later of which they began last year.)

So guys my point is. Be constuctive and they may actually listen. Be rude and spam pages and they will just get mad.

Channel 5 really are, hats off!

You have got to be kidding, right? or are you just getting desparate for something positive to say.
IF they were really 'listening' the LF would be reinstated for the regular show. simple as that.
If anything theres even more music now for example.

I don't think they are at all. All these things would happen anyway, it's just acceptance of it not them changing hugely. Marcus has not toned down much we are just getting more used to it. His whole tone has changed even if the scrip were to be the same it would sound mildly different. Plus there has still been loads of music an montages recently. And I truly think the music thing was a mistake tonight. We will see anyway. Channel 5 don't care about BB they only want it so other show ratings go up. This is all my opinion though.

If lf is back for the normal one then I will admit them listening. Otherwise it's just rose coloured spectacles.

I think because I watch BBUSA the music doesn't bother me as much as it does for others.

Also as I have said, I could care less about the Live feed. But let's not get into that again.

I still dont think LF will be back though, they seem pretty set on that.

But at least they are making changes

I'm still not convinced the music played when it was supposed to, seems like someone missed the cue. Will have to see on Friday.

Everyone go praise them for it on their twitter and facebook, then what may have been a happy accident can stick ;)

I think their motivation is more about BB12. As many keep pointing out CBB viewing figures are ok for CH5 but low for a summer edition which should be doing better than a january version when viewrs have a better choice of programmes normaly. It is extremely likely that half the viewers are only watching for their particular favourite in CBB and they wont stick around for a house of nobodies. CH5 has to find a way to convince viewers to watch or BB12 could be a huge expensive disaster for advertising revenue. The side shows just dont deliver anything that adds value and the HL shows arent strong enough to stand alone yet they have a week to fix it. If they dont do something drastic i doubt BB12 will do 10 weeks without losing a few of the HL shows each week to be replaced with other shows that can command more viewers.

They definately are listening, far more than Channel 4 did over the years, people were constantly wanting vote to save, they only did it a few times when it suited them.Never listened at all.

I noticed this too. I was wondering if the guy responsible for pressing the button just forgot, or if they did it on purpose.

Pamela dealt with the boo's pretty well though. Pure class.

I was glad about the music not being played until Pamela was at the stairs, but I hope that wasn't just a technical glitch.

I had that feeling too lol! Hope not.

I thought the music not playing was someone messing up

The votes to stay is for the Celebrity edition, as BB doesn't want to damage the fragile, eggshell egos of the celebs.
I'm sure vote to evict will return with regular BB shortly.

This is just being spammed across forums. I don't believe you CH5, and that Jeff guy pretty much exposed their attitude.

Brian said it was vote to save for this years series,meaning CBB and BB itself, it makes sense anyway, more calls have to be made to make sure people you like are safe rather than just voting to evict one.
