Everything crammed into the first two weeks

So now what? What will they do for the next few days? Apart from do petty tasks to win takeaways..... God knows why they even bothered with shopping tasks

Colbert-Bump 03-09-2011 03:16 AM

I'm quite surprised there isn't gonna be any more evictions before the finale.

Kerry 03-09-2011 03:19 AM

Me too. Thats why I'm wondering what on earth they're going to do

Hopefully not more trolley dashes around Lidl... Maybe a McDonalds smash and grab..

Ramsay 03-09-2011 03:21 AM

Should be a double eviction mid week for the 2 with the least votes to win
Dunno why they arent doing that
Then a cool normal 5 person final

King Gizzard 03-09-2011 03:22 AM

Should of made this a month show and forgot about normal BB till next summer

Kerry 03-09-2011 03:24 AM

It's like it's been on fast forward

Maia 03-09-2011 03:26 AM

They've really gotten through it fast. I'm not complaining though, I can't wait for the regular series.

I think thats the new wacky tacky cheap style they are looking for but how they will sustain that for 10 weeks during civilian big brother i have no idea i almost dread to think they need to chill out and let the housemates characters make the show instead of trying to ram it down our throats at 1000mph every night.

King Gizzard 03-09-2011 03:31 AM

Surely there will be less BOTS during Normal BB?

We definately need to time get used to the HM's. They were slinging people out before we'd even seen them in this

It wouldnt suprise me to see 20 housemates thrown in and chucked out at a rate of 2 a week!

Hope not :/

King Gizzard 03-09-2011 03:42 AM

Or do that rubbish thing where we have to vote for who we want to be housemates and sling 8 out in one night

Kerry 03-09-2011 03:44 AM

How long is launch night on for? I've not even looked or even know what day it's on  :joker:

King Gizzard 03-09-2011 03:45 AM

I have loved it, it has seemed less manic than some of the other series.Of course there has only been the hour nightly to watch it too.

I agree with their decision,it was only on for 3 weeks, we are in the last week now, we have had 3 evictions done. I can really see their point as to having no more eveictions, 5 or 7 through to the final day, little difference.
Had say 12 or 14 celebs gone in they would have needed to have more evictions.

This is also a good business move too, for them, 7 finalists all on vote to win now, with nearly a weeks voting, will rake in funds for the show too.

I know others can and do but I really cannot fault the programming of this series at all,all I would have liked would have been more programming and footage shown, also some sort of live feed for those who are really missing it.

The deal signed in April, to get this up and running on the TV by August and with all they have put into it in the 3 weeks short time for this series, leaves me patting Channel 5 and the producers on the back. I have loved every minute of it.

Couldn't find the original thread where a few said they recieved the following. I recieved it in my inbox yesterday. Have screencapped it but not sure if allowed to post up an email screencap. The address on the email is from applause store by the looks of it, and how anywhere else could get my main email to send a false email I wouldn't know. I know a few said they received such an email, so wondered if there is a surprise eviction then? The only thing I noticed wrong is there is no T on the first word 'Night'.

Here is the wording in the email:

Worst. Series. EVER! And it started so well :(

They may as well of evicted nobody, I mean, 7 of the 10 housemates in the final? Ultimate Big Brother had the same laughable amount of finalists, but at least there were more than three exits before the final.

If that wasn't bad enough, the only three evictees of the series were female and three of the more entertaining (imo) ones.

I'm so happy that Big Brother 12 is just around the corner to make me forget about this disaster.

InOne 03-09-2011 01:54 PM

Yeah it does seem pretty rushed. I guess we're just gonna get a week of Jedwards planned antics, Kerry and Lucien "snuggling", Darryn and Paddy sitting around smoking and Bobby just sitting there with a grin on his face
