The reason why i think Jedward will WIN ?

Most of Ireland will be voting for them and they have a big fan base in Britain and Ireland. What does kerry and amy have?

Niamh. 03-09-2011 10:29 PM

We can't vote, sorry to burst your bubble

GypsyGoth 03-09-2011 10:33 PM

They have fans but they also have a lot of haters. I'm not sure they'll even get second, Lucien and Amy will prob beat them.

And I think Kerry (for some unknown reason) is the most popular.

We can't vote in Ireland because we're outside the UK

Northern Ireland can but Jedward are from the Republic

Zippy 03-09-2011 10:47 PM

your thinking is a tad simplistic, Mr Wizard

they don't even have that many fans looking at their album sales and previous positions on talent shows. Its an illusion.

then there's the fact that many haters will vote against them.

Vicky. 03-09-2011 10:51 PM

Meh. I think its a bit silly to assume that people from ireland would vote for them because they are irish anyway. For every jedward fan, there will be fans of others...so the irish vote wouldnt make that much difference.

Well they done alright on the Eurovision Song Contest.

InOne 03-09-2011 10:52 PM

I think a lot of Irish would be pretty embarrased by them lol

they came 8th in a tacky show that was perfectly suited to their novelty nonsense.

Im not sure when coming 8th was suddenly regarded as an amazing position. Its not like there were 7 supertalented superstar acts above them.

tbf going by our results in the Eurovision in the last few years, 8th was pretty amazing :joker:

joeysteele 03-09-2011 11:02 PM

Oh here's that old chestnut again about them only coming 8th in Eurovision, for goodness sake, they came 8th out of 25 countries participating, with votes from some of the 43 other countries voting, despite Blues big popularity in Europe the UK could only come 11th.

8th as Niamh says was a really good result in the contest.Only one country could win the thing, they did far better than the UK despite all the hype for Blue.

You make it sound as if Jedward were some unknown underdogs against the mighty Blue.

You really are absurd sometimes.

Eurovision is mostly political voting anyways :bored:

Even with the best song/singers in the world, ireland...or the UK...would struggle to win.
