When Were You Most Scared?
Ok well today I have felt more scared and anxious than I ever have in my life and I feel sick and shaking ect. Wont ramble on about it or ask for sympathy but I thought of this thread idea.
When do you remember being the most scared or anxious that you have ever been? |
When I was locked in my bathroom thinking there was a murderer in my house and the horrible realisation that my "child bearing hips" were not going to fit through the window. Only time I've ever felt real fear.
Oh and when I had my wisdom teeth removed. |
when my school had a computer virus going around, the technicians sorted it out and banned anyone from using memory sticks, i used mine, then i came into school the next day and all the computers were down, right before the exams, so everyone couldnt do there coursework. then for the next 5 weeks the computers were down and everytime the technition would come into my class id **** myself.

Okay I've thought of one situation but I doubt it's the BIGGEST TIME I was MOST scared - It's just one that comes to mind.
I was like going over in a taxi alone to town at like 12AM at night to get some game I think - and I've been in taxis before alone just not at night. Anyway the taxi driver was dodgy as ******, and I was sitting beside him for the first time because I'm use to sitting in the back seat because I was young but this bastard ensured that I sat in the front seat. So I was chilling and then it got to a point were he put the locks on the doors and stuff and I was like  and then he took a turn into a heavily protestant area of Belfast and I was like 'Oh, well I'm dead now.' And I was just waiting for him to drive up an alley and cut me. So I texted my mum, slyly and I still have the message of my old phone I was reading it the other day LOL It's like 30th October 2006 | 11:47PM and I just texted her saying; 'Mum, I actually thinking I'm about to be kidnapped here - seriously. Do you know that taxi driver that picked me up? He's taking me down to the Shankill Road, there's nothing I can do he has locked the doors. I'm sorry for everything, and thank you for the PS2 games and computer, bye. x' Because I was just so scared - but then it turned out the guy was only taking a short cut to town, and had put the locks on the doors because we were driving through a pretty dodgy area. My mum just texted me back and was like 'Wise the ****** up, I know that taxi driver - he's your grandad's friend!' And I was like, 'oh..' |
I think I've surpressed every moment like that cos I can't think of any single moment that I could pin point. :conf2:

Paddy's Mum = Legend

Christ Patrick, why would you say bye so bluntly.
My mum would kill me for scaring her like that |
That's scary, I've had a few times where I thought someone would take me way a (lol) but what were you dong in a taxi on your own at 12 at night when you were like 9???
My most scared moment was when I woke up and thought someone had broken into my house and another time when I came downstairs in the middle of the night and all the photo frames in the living room (theres about 15 on top of the TV cabinet alone) were all flipped around facing towards the wall. No one at home can explain what happened since, and it's pretty much the only reason why I still believe in paranormal stuff. No guessing that I tore back upstairs tho :P |
I always get scared incase I accidently press 'like' on Facebook for my phone for people I dont like ..I did it once and that person gave me dirty looks until the end of year 11 lol
Also I get scared when people follow me when its dark incase they attack me D; ..they never do though lol im paranoid. |
When I went to this place called Stubbers for a school trip, they made us do this thing called tunnelling. We had to into this hole in the ground and navigate our way through these really tiny tunnels in pitch darkness to the other side with no help. I was like 9. I shaking when I came out the other side cause I'm a 'lil bit claustrophobic. It was terrifying.
|
My first ever panic attack though I've had just as bad since. I'd not wish them on my worst enemy
|
Late one night I was lying in bed watching Friday 13th on my own,and the cat fell out of the airing cupboard onto the bed, I was really scared until I came to my senses, lol.
|
when my best friend had a seizure in lesson. it was awful. She had two and right after her first one she reached her arm out and said my name and told me she was scared but then she had her second one. I freaked out and i still feel horrible because i never really comforted her.

Hmm 1 that comes to mind is that my parents were away for the weekend so it was just me and my brother, but he had gone out clubbing, so i was home alone and i decided to watch Paranormal Activity by myself because i wanted to know what all the fuss was about and it was the most terrifying thing I had ever scene, so I went to bed, still in the house alone and I kept making myself paranoid thinking I was hearing low banging noises from the down the hall and up in the Attic, I was sweating I was that scared, I couldn't sleep! Was just lying there expecting to be dragged out of my bed :bawling::bawling:

When I was about 6 in the heavy snow on the way home with Mum walking through London on the way home in the cold pitch black (in about December time) I challenged her to a little race because I was obvlivious to the danger of the snow. My mum and I raced and she fell to the floor in pain. I was so young, I didn't know what to do. she couldn't get up. Then 2 dodgy blokes come over to us and Mum is like "stay close to me". We thought it'd be them tryna mug us in the perfect opportunity but in the end they helped her up. I know that it isn't much but at that age it's horrible :joker:

I have only ever been truly scared once in my life. When I was quite a bit younger I was forced to take loads, probably around 30 of these things called buckets. Basically, its dope. And I was stitched really bad. I felt so ill I actually thought I was going to die, at one point I lay down and just accepted that this was the end. I was literally crawling round the streets, knocking on peoples doors for water :bored: |
i love reading these

Being robbed and beaten unconscious by a couple of junkies in a toilet at the college where I was working. The worst part was regaining consciousness with blood pouring down my face and the fire alarm wailing, and not knowing who I was or where I was.

Can't actually recall any moment in my life when I've felt true fear.
Most anxious I've been is when I got a puppy and then found out, about two weeks later, that he had Parvo disease and there was a high chance he could die. I was only about 9/10 at the time and it was heartbreaking. Luckily he pulled through though so it was all cool in the end. |
Split from a multiple patrol in the Falls Road area of Belfast May 1981. The good old days. When adrenaline was brown and runny.

Probably when I was taking the dog for a walk in a field once outside the back of my house and we got to the top and I remember seeing a man just standing absolutely still in the distance and staring at me. I was only about 10 at the time and had watched lost now and again and it was totally like the scenes where Jack sees his Dad at the start of season 1... Really surreal and he just kept staring. At that point I just ran as fast as I could back down to my back garden, not even daring to look back up the field. I'm not sure if what I saw was real or not as when I got to the bottom and looked back there was no-one there but as I was running down he kept appearing at random points further down the field now and again just standing and staring. Looking back I think it was just my imagination at the stuff I had seen on lost... Buy I've also always had a strong connection with spirits so ive never let it escape my mind that it might have been a spirit i saw that day. There is an abbey in the village where monks used to stay 100's of years ago and they would walk through the fields behind my house to get to the lake a bit further up - or so I'm told by a few sources online. Throughout my life, even when I was about 3 I have always seen hooded figures (monks I'm guessing) and they would stand by the sink in the kitchen. Used to be a lot worse when I was younger and occur a good 4/5 times a year where I'd be crying. Font remember much personally but mum always remembers how upset I used to get about it. All the dogs we have ever had have always had tines in their lives where they would go absolutely mental at the sink and just bark the house down and wimper. Scary stuff, but very surreal.

I just kept to the wall and made my way to the shallow end. However your story brought to mind when I saw that film, it really disturbed me, I wouldn't go to bed for 3 nights and lay downstairs with the light on. A really disturbing and scary film that was I agree. |
