Today feels like autumn has started, there's a slight chill in the air despite being sunny and the trees seem to be turning colour. Autumn has apparently arrived. :)

It usually goes from being summer to winter these days it seems

The trees are starting to turn in my garden. The blackthorn trees are covered in big fat sloes ready for me me to pick and make sloe gin for Christmas. My apple tree is laden with fruit and there are blackberries everywhere.

Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness. Keats. What a dude.

Keats didn't have to put up with baubles in Sainsbury's in September though

I don't care what others think. I enjoy running through the leaves, one part of my childhood that will never leave me. :hugesmile:

I tend to just associate autumn with miserable weather and rain, and the gap between summer and winter that no-one really wants

Winter is great :nono: Well it is until February anyway, by then I'm bored of it and just want Spring to begin

Urghh am too depressed for walks and those smells get right on my ****ing nerves

I had a walk around the park at lunchtime. I picked up my first conker of the Autumn. It's so lovely and shiney and... chestnut--- ey.
