Yeah I agree, although the average viewer won't have a clue how many people watch the show and will actually believe that 8 million do.

I'd credit the average viewer with a wee bit more credence...... certainly UK viewers.

Anything over a million is just a vast number to some people! :D

CBB6 (racial stint that took over the news worldwide at the time) this brought in 8million for one episode which i think saw the eviction of jade goody!

the viewing figures were probs more of a reason why they didn't stop it! which reporter "Paul Brennan" states in video below...



i bet producers tell them there highest figure which is 8million too the celebs to make the show sound more of a platform for the career!

Also they only count the dolts in the country that have barb boxes, this series is far far far bigger than any other series since BB7 [off forums] there's no way it's as unpopular as people on here make out.

Also people are watching on Demand 5 etc, which years ago didn't exist. Others use Sky+ and similar.

None of these watch at the time the programme is going out... they watch at their own convenience.

They only count some barb boxes as the viewers, they don't even count you or me or anyone else, if this whole forum turned off - it'd have no effect on the ratings at all.

Don't know if everyone has seen the vid of the Jeds preparing a routine for their exit and saying:

"The whole world will be watching us!"
