That looks really good Niamh and a true story which I always prefer. I much prefer him in a serious role, he's great in the romcoms, really cheeky and naughty, but he's too good to be playing them a lot. I love him when he gets angry.....and a gun as well.........*moan*

I've been kind of disappointed by Gerard Butler. I loved him in "300" (I also loved the other 299) and had high hopes for him. Then he appeared in every wet, soppy chick-flick that was out. "PS, I love You". Oh... gimme a break. Then he turned up in an advert for moisturiser. Seems since doing 300, he's grown himself a pair of ovaries.

Sorry Niamh x

lol, he's also done some good films like RocknRolla, Gamer and Law Abiding Citizen which are all nice and manly ;) Not to mention doing the voice over in How to Train your Dragon. Those 2 film trailers I posted look pretty good too

Oh yeah, Law Abiding Citizen, he was good in that. I just miss those CGIed abs from 300, I guess.

I agree 'P.S. I Love You' was sentimental dribble, Gerard and Hilary Swank are both far too good for that s***e, although the book was ok and the only reason I watched the movie was because they were in it - bad idea. The Bounty Hunter was a dreadful movie, zero chemistry between Gerard and Jennifer A. I didn't mind the Ugly Truth though, there was chemistry between him and Katherine H, and the scene with the remote control..........lol.
300 is definately his best movie, I agree and I also love Beowulf and Grendel, Law Abiding Citizen and RocknRolla, oh and Gamer was kick ass fun

I don't know what it is about PS I Love You but I can't help crying practically the whole way through it, I don't think it's the film itself but the story, I tried reading the book but the same thing happened and I had to stop reading it. It's weird cos I never cry during films, I think it's cos they're similar ages to me in it and it's one of my biggest fears :(

LOL, I didn't mind the book as I say, it was an easy read, but I HATE over sentimental chick flick type movies. I don't mind it if they make me laugh, like say Bridget Jones, which lived up to the book imo, or a true story which is also sad, like The Changeling, but I can't sit through two hours of a movie and feel depressed for the most part of it, by the end I could give a flying ******* whether she was happy because I was miserable:hugesmile:

Did you like The Changling? God I hate that film so much, Angelina Jolie was the most unlikeable character in it.

Not a feel good movie, lol, obviously, but I was absorbed with the story of the chicken coop murders, which I'd heard of vaguely, but not really known too much about. I hadn't realised that The Changeling was linked to them, so I found it fascinating. I'm not a huge Angelina Jolie fan anyway, so, although she did play the main character, I was more concentrating on the story, if you know what I mean
