Do you think any of the finalists are disappointed?

Obviously there could be only one winner. But I didn't get the impression any of the others expected to win - but I guess they would say that wouldn't they?

Some of them may have expected to do a bit better though.

Or are they all just glad to be out of there, collect the pay cheque (small or large) and go home? ;)

Novo 09-09-2011 12:16 AM

With all your cheering for them i bet Jedward thought they had it in the bag i reckon they'll be most disappointed

Locke. 09-09-2011 12:17 AM

Amy looked depressed all night

bbfan1991 09-09-2011 12:18 AM

Amy- Had a good chance of winning before love triangle.

Lucien- Showed his true false colours.

Kerry- Love triangle ruined any chance of her winning.

Bobby- I wondered what would have happened with him if Spitgate had not happened.

Joelle. 09-09-2011 12:18 AM

Yeah if anyone expected to win, it's Jedward.

I don't think they expected to win, they are fully aware they are too marmite and some found them annoying. They were happy regardless!

On their little planet they are NEVER losers.... I suspect they are the least likely to be disappointed. :D

I think Amy may have had hopes.

Kerry 09-09-2011 12:21 AM

Jedward looked shocked. Then went back into Jedward mode

joeysteele 09-09-2011 12:23 AM

No, not at all, I think the cheers going in to the house must have prepared them from the first placing of Bobby in 7th, that a fair few of them could be in with a shout.

Possibly Amy may have hopes for a top 3 place but no one really disappointed.

Jedward didn't expect to win, would have liked to just as I would have liked them to too, I think Kerry thought she was still too disliked by the public to win.

I don't think any of them expected to win so none can be disappointed, these 7 were in the final, that was their main aim to get to the final meaning they had been there right from the start.I saw none of them shocked they were all just pleased for each other. That's really good housemates.

As to winning also, you never know what may happen really on a BB series anyway.

I didn't actually notice that......... was it when they were announced as 3rd placed?

I must have blinked at the time!

Roy Mars III 09-09-2011 12:24 AM

I think Jedward were surprised they didn't win.

Amy also seemed surprised she only got 4th.

cub 09-09-2011 12:49 AM

Kerry lived off IAC for years and was hoping to do the same. The crap about a second chance by the public was a winner's speech, not a runner up.

Her mother slipped up when she said she thought Kerry had it in the bag when Jedward came 3rd. Kerry would have thought the same - she was welling up after Jedward won thinking 'It's me!'

When Paddy was announced she was genuinely pleased I think but her grin seemed very fixed.

Niamh. 09-09-2011 10:48 AM

I disagree with the people who say Jedward, they never win stuff  I think Amy was surprised not to be higher and I think Kerry thought she would win too

CaudleHalbard 09-09-2011 10:50 AM

Jedward won a huge amount of money, 3 weeks exposure to keep them in the public eye........... and won around the other HMs too.

My new sig says it all! :D

I love your new sig Caudlehalbard, I watched CBB over last night again and am watching it now, Jedward never really altered at all, I was just reminded of their statement in the diary room where they said,:joker: ,our BB experience feels like we have been captured by aliens and they are studying us to see what life is like on Planet Jedward,.:joker:

That is likely how they've seen it and just got into it and enjoyed it as much as they could, never really expecting to win it but naturally hoping they may have a chance to.

I have loved this series, one of the best CBB series I have watched.

No, I thought Kerry LOOKED as if Paddy had got it in the bag, what with the crowd cheering for him 'n all. Actually, I thought Jedward would win with Kerry second. Quite why Paddy did is beyond me.....sausages!!
Kerry did well and no wonder she sees this as a minor 'triumph'. I agree about the 'love' triangle...in fact she would have done a bit better to leave the idiotic Lucien well alone!!

mizzy25 09-09-2011 11:25 AM

i think kerry hope to win. amy expected to win and darryn shud have won imo but paddy winning is ok too but darryn shud have deffo been higher

No, Jedwards expressions stayed exactly the same, in fact the second their names were announced as in 3rd place they just jumped up and said Kerry go on you can do this, then they went to Paddy too just hugging them both.

I think to be fair, all the housemates took their results gracefully and with great respect for the the other housemates too. Whatever the results from 1st to 7th, these housemates have been a credit overall to the whole series.

To see someone again do what Chantelle did (she had no celebrity status when she went in) to come through the series and win is a great thing for BB.

No one can ever say this was a rigged result by any means.

bbfan1991 09-09-2011 11:56 AM

I still don't think Jedward care about not winning at all, they are off to Germany, Sweden and Russia now to capitalise on gaining fans their after Eurovision and looking at Twitter etc it seems some of their European fans knew they were going into CBB.

As for the likes of Lucien, Kerry and Amy they will be battling it out for deals in OK Magazine. The bitchy 3AM girls have already slagged Kerry off again saying that she was gutted to be denied the winning prize.

dizzy bint 09-09-2011 12:12 PM

I don't think Jedward themselves will be disappointed but I think there must be some disappointment amongst their camp. They must have thought their clients had it in the bag.

bbfan1991 09-09-2011 12:16 PM

Jedward join Verne and Terry Christian as bookies favourites on the day who didn't win.

Bookies have to cover their backs and today they will be breathing a big sigh of relief;).

I rarely take notice of odds on favourites, the bookie doesn't want the odds on favourites to win, he will just take all the money hoping for a different result.

It's kind of proving that the bookies sometimes don't have no idea sometimes who will win these shows as things quickly change...

Vicky. 09-09-2011 01:03 PM

Amy and Kerry both thought they had it won IMO.

I have a feeling jedward will have thought they would win...however not been too bothered either way, afterall, they are a couple of the very select few who were in there that actually still have careers
