Why have Big Brother made it so easy for the HMs?

......any reason?

It's ridiculous, get alcohol in, force divides within groups, starve the fckers and cause tension. It's the only way big bro will survive, i know it was 'celeb' BB and that may be a reason why they weren't tough but if they want the normal BB to be a success then get tougher, ratings dip when housemates find it easy.

It really is a no brainer. I didnt find the series too bad, i watched it but i just found it a bit dull at times.

Big Brother was an extraordinarily benign big brother this series. Yet another reason it didnt work for me personally.

Bring back the days of BB5!! Thats what i say.

the 'old' days were brilliant - and yes, the house divide, rich / poor, basic rations, hard task, having to skivvy for the 'rich' side etc: all based on winning tasks and getting on in their respective groups: that was at the heart of BB.

years down the line though - it's lost any real kick and oomph it did. It's now nothing more than a contrived watered down scripted version - and without live feed - it defeats the whole purpose of 'big brother is watching you'..... BB is meant to be the public.

No, so bored now of BB trying to be a ****. Every year from BB7 we've had a series of big brother not giving the HM's any parties or alcohol and it was ****. It doesn't cause tension it causes boredom *cough* BB11.

It's about time BB was more fun.

That's not down to alcohol, that is down to dull housemates who cannot entertain themselves because they have no imagination/creativity/depth/point in being alive.

I hope they give them more booze in BB12.

I don't mind a bit of 'fun', it's good to see them enjoying themselves from time to time, but people enjoy controversy, that is why the early big bros did so well and got such high viewing figures. I'm not specifically saying just bring in the alcohol, there are plenty of other ways to cause controversies and tension.

If it continues to be a doddle for housemates then ratings will dip and big bro will vanish. Don't mean to sound like i'm bashing big bro, i dont think it was anywhere near as bad as most people make out, i watched it all but i just found it a bit dull at times.

I was thinking this when they were sorting out the sweet colours for the last task, it was the first time I had seen them doing a s****y task, hopefully there'll be a lot more deprivation and torture in BB

I think the hms were spoilt! I hope that the ordinary lot have to suffer a bit more hardship. BB seemed to pander to the celebs, wondering if that was part of the deal?

Hope not, otherwise we might see more of the same seeing as though Pamela Anderson is in the house now.

I think that BB know that the viewers want action and that is had when they provide alcohol, that's fine with me, but I want to see them living on basic rations, no fags etc. That always makes the best telly!
