I guess Jimmy put his foot in it there..the joke doesn't even seem that funny anyway

He was basically talking about a different crash that happened on the same date, different year, I don't get why that's so offensive though

I thought Rav Wilding was a bit harsh on him, doesn't seem that offensive to me but maybe a bit insensitive perhaps

Well, it's not like he was taking the piss out of the people who died, he was just basically saying "haha I was talking about a different Sept 11 crash" I don't get how that's offensive, it's not overly funny either though :joker:

I don't really see the big deal. I don't think it was that bad at all.

Shaun 12-09-2011 03:41 PM

looks like another poor attempt at appearing controversial. Oh it's Jimmy Carr :idc: knob.

Visage 12-09-2011 03:45 PM

I agree I don't think it's in bad taste, but all the same I don't think it's funny at all.

Doogle 12-09-2011 03:46 PM

That's not "sick". Just a terrible "joke".

Smithy 12-09-2011 03:47 PM

It's not funny, but it's not exactly offensive, frankie boyle's a hell of a lot worse

fruit_cake 12-09-2011 03:50 PM

maybe Rav's got a bit of an anger management problem especially after what happened with the finger pointing and Chantelle

Tom4784 12-09-2011 03:59 PM

Rav's just trying to muscle in for good press, The reaction is completely overblown and it's just people acing outraged for the sake of looking good. Given the kind of humour that Jimmy Carr dabbles in you'd think his followers would have the stomach for the more edgier jokes.

Carr has always hated America. He's gone on and on about how horrible Americans are, and how stupid everyone is. The dude has some serious issues. One of them being his not being funny.

Ramsay 12-09-2011 09:11 PM

Complete overexaggeration

He sounds like a seal when he laughs.

It reminds me of that cliche "never trust a skinny chef". well never trust a comedian that has such a fake laugh.

Scarlett. 13-09-2011 11:04 AM

I'm getting bored of all this "contrivertial" comedy, it just seems like comedians are trying to be offensive just to get a few cheap laughs.

I agree. Comedians saying something offensive on twitter is just like starlettes having a sex tape. It's obviously deliberate.
