for flashing images do they mean bright or like someone flashing ? :p

They are obviously not going to change the bloody recorded message every night, why should they :idc:

I think they mean flash photography, images that could affect people with epilepsy etc.

Standard message just in case you get some ofcom knobber that goes crying to them saying they werent warned.
Even some bags of peanuts say warning this product may contain nuts its just covering your arse.
