John Stape to return for the very final time...probably.

He wreaked havoc on the cobbles of Coronation Street after a fraud scam turned into a murder investigation leaving three people dead in his wake.

But John Stape will have his comeuppance and is set to confess all on his deathbed.

The former school teacher will return to the cobbles and will reveal the truth in a storyline that will get his wife Fiz, who is currently in prison, off the hook.

A scruffy and dishevelled John will return to the street and as she struggles to come to terms with what he has done, and loses his grip on reality he will decide kidnapping Rosie Webster is the best course of action.

Rosie and John were involved in a relationship while he was her teacher and she later claimed that it was not consensual which saw John loose his job.

Rosie’s father Kevin heads out after his daughter, (played by Helen Flanagan), and the men will be involved in a high speed car chase.

After John (Graeme Hawley) loses control of the vehicle and will be involved in a fatal smash.

While he makes it to hospital and has enough time to confess his crimes to police John will lose his battle to stay alive.

Fiz has been imprisoned for the crimes John has commited even though she did not know the full extent of his actions at the time.

The fiery red head did however pretend to be Colin Fishwick’s wife for financial gain and she has spent a torturous few months locked away and has recently been reunited with her baby Hope in prison.

A lot of people haven't liked Stape but I've enjoyed every bit of his comical journey since he was released from Prison. I've even liked Fiz throughout this story. Years before I always found her a dull waste of space.

It has been a fun journey :D I'll be sad to see him killed off, I like how its ending how it all started though - with Rosie Webster xD

This:D. I won't miss him and glad he is dying, couldn't happen to a more deserving character. At least Fiz gets out of jail:).

Well at least he'll be dead and can't come back.... AGAIN!

I could watch the blundering idiot again and again.

LOL at Corrie still relying on this storyline to be cool.

Actually current storylines like Carla's rape are Corrie's big hitters, John Stape is only returning to put a final end to the story
