I've got a performance for School tomorrow and i'm seriously panicking.

I can't remember my lines, i don't know what i'm doing and i can't concentrate.

Yeah I have a short Dickens performance on Sunday and I don't know the lines. We've only been doing it for 2 weeks cos it's a little thing but yeah I am nervous cos I'll mess up lolol.

But yeah, just read it. A LOT. In your head, out loud. Whatever. Don't bother with the cover up and try to remember it ****, just read it so much and it sticks, and whenever you rehearse don't have the script on you because your mind will go blank and you'll be forced to look at the script (irrelevant to this but just a tip cos I always do it LOL)

Record yourself on your phone/Ipod and play it back constantly.....Worked for me in my oral exams.

As soon as you get your lines, you should learn them. That's what I used to do. Silly leaving them until last minute.

Just sit down, turn off all distractions like computer, tv, music etc. and just read them. :)

Try a bit of meditation, or sitting outside for a bit and just look at the stars. It'll calm you down, then start learning them again. The more you panic the worse your concentration will get. :)
