Lmao I love how the Daily Mail readers are more concerned by the fact that the 13 year old was playing an 18 game
Top rated comments: 13 year old playing an 18 cert game... great parenting skills there, as for the chap that couldnt take the 13 year old's abuse... thats what the mute option is for. what a tool. "The teenager's mother, 33, said: 'It’s pathetic that a grown man would attack a defenceless child like this. 'If you can’t handle losing to a child then you shouldn’t be playing games." And did she have anything to say about allowing a 13 year old to play a game with an "18" cert??? The child shouldn't have been playing the game anyway - and honestly why do people get so wound up over these games, they are games...I just don't get it. |

I don't know what you guys are talking about, but that guy is a hero. You see, long before 13 year olds had consoles with voice chat, people were playing multiplayer games on computers almost exclusively. Early on, the internet sucked and was really ****ing slow. This gave rise to LAN parties, which were about friends getting together at someones flat with their computers, having fun times, getting drunk, and taking the piss while playing video games. At some point, internet connection speeds began improving, access to broadband was more widespread, and the need to get together to reliably play videogames was less necessary. Enter dedicated servers and/or hosting games straight from the client(MMO's were barely in their infancy). Games generally concluded with things like "good game." It was still about having fun, though you did get some competitive douche bags who treated gaming like measuring penises.
Skip forward a ton of time: Consoles finally evolved to have online multiplayer services that weren't complete garbage. Socially inept 12 year olds embark on a journey through the final frontier, which happens to be a digital wasteland full of nasally boys calling each other fggts repeatedly. Back on the subject of what this guy did. Yes, what he did is wrong, because it should have been done like this: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1661793/0001tqy5.jpg |
a 13 year old call of duty fan gets throttled for talking trash.....
