why do you think Mark realy went?

He had no story line,
aaran has his harum, two girls and Tom

Jay has louise and his two hangers on Anton and Arden

Harry Alex Tom have a little group

Mark was always in the background, his Brian belo act wasnt working

Jordan. 05-10-2011 10:30 PM

Not getting enough attention, he pretty much said it himself on BOTS.

Chuck 05-10-2011 10:31 PM

He thought Aaron was unbeatable and couldn't be bothered to act like the joker of the house for any longer.

rk3388 05-10-2011 10:32 PM

He couldnt keep up his act for 1 hour let alone 9 weeks

I also remember him nominating Tashie because people wouldn't pay enough attention to his jokes if she was in the room as him. :bored:

Callum 05-10-2011 10:33 PM

He couldn't keep up his act anymore, that's why he went.

Mystic Mock 05-10-2011 10:33 PM

He was a mole that had to be removed before his time so some of the Aaron fans go we have to save Faye so Aaron doesnt walk.

Well guess what Endemol/C5 that isnt going to work so be upset when Faye goes this friday.

karezza 05-10-2011 10:33 PM

He wants to watch the England v Montenegro match.

Kerry 05-10-2011 10:34 PM

He seemed to be isolating himself more and more. Often people who 'appear' very extroverted are quite the opposite. It's a front. I think he probably saw it as some kind of break or challenge and it didn't work out

cookiemonster 05-10-2011 10:34 PM

he must secretly hate himself. he plays the silly act to mask what's really inside. but as anyone that watches big brother knows, no one can keep up a facade for 13 weeks (or 9 this time).

4 weeks is the time when the facades slowly start to be peeled away. and Mark couldn't take it. he couldn't bear to face himself, which is exactly what big brother makes you do.

Listening to Aaron's moaning every day wore him down , he couldn't take it anymore

How can you say that , Aaron was his bestest pal :hmph:

cookiemonster 05-10-2011 10:56 PM

he hung around with Aaron because Aaron was closest to what Mark was REALLY like.

Cromwell1900 05-10-2011 11:03 PM

He could not wait to be with his audience.

What a shame i liked him inside. It's not often people are worse after exiting BB

I believe his reasons. Fed up with living in that house and had had enough.

This thread looks like something you'd find on the DS boards.

The reason that he does not like being filmed? because i have to say he was apsolutely lapping the camera time up on BBots tonight, he was like a comedian at his first gig, and i could be wrong but it just seems insincere.

I think he did not want to be filmed in an environment where he was not getting the laughs, so he left, i guess nothing wrong with that, but if you then go and do a "Mark Live at the Apollo" show straight after it's natural to get agrrivated with him...

cookiemonster 05-10-2011 11:21 PM

he likes the laughs because it makes him feel validated

rusticgal 06-10-2011 12:01 AM

Just watching him on BBOTS tonight I decided that Mark wants a great deal of attention and be seen as the 'Joe pasquale' type character....the 24hr comedian that everybody laughs at.
Unfortunatly...as with most comedians it is an act....a cover up....he could not put up this front 24hrs a day and struggled to allow the public to see another side to him.
On BBOTS he was loving the attention and hogging the limelight....its almost sad really.

I agree.

I think it's very easy for other posters on here to criticize housemates who walk when they themselves have never been in the house, let alone for four weeks, and don't know what it's like to be in there.

Personally, I could understand Mark's comments regarding the routine of it all getting to him. The majority of the time spent in there must be very dull and 'samey.' I'm sure most people who enter the house think they'll cope with it, but it's only until they actually do experience what it's like in there that they realise it's not as easy as it looks on the screen.
