Gym

If there was a punchbag in the house (think there was one in celeb BB that was regularly used??) and Jay had used that instead of a pillow in the garden it wouldn't have even been mentioned. Why the hell is everyone getting so uptight cos he hit a pillow ?? Explain a difference

cell 06-10-2011 11:23 PM

No difference. Haters wanna hate.

Jords 06-10-2011 11:24 PM

Looked like a right bellend tonight.

Never said he didn't. Just want to know what the difference was. If he'd been in a gym it wouldn't have been mentioned

Vicky. 06-10-2011 11:27 PM

I think there still would be a fuss over it tbh, it was just the pure aggression behind it...and the fact that you could just tell he was picturing the pillow was harry. And that it came after him saying he wanted to beat harry up in the DR.

Also the fact that he got that mad over food...especially after wasting some himself too :bored:

Samuel. 06-10-2011 11:27 PM

Punchbags are made for punching, pillows are not...

There's a difference between working out and showing that kind of aggression

Boxers have fecked it then

InOne 06-10-2011 11:30 PM

You could just imagine him doing that to someones face after a night on the toon. Pure vile thug.

Jordan. 06-10-2011 11:30 PM

I'd have the same opinion on it whatever inanimate object he hit

Bit of a moot point really, Jay is not a boxer...

Just pointing out that punchbags are not simply for that

Either way, I think he's been portrayed badly. That said, still not a fan of his. Not a fan of any of them right now

I agree, and now certain individuals are suggesting he's the type to hit women:nono:

If everyone had reacted appropriately i.e been mad at Harry Jay's reaction may of been seen different, as it is No real food for 7 days looks like a bit of a laugh and Jay's reacted intolerably

Gotta disagree on that, they are finally showing all sides to Jay. Guess the freezergate backlash was too much for them and now they have to be more fair in the editing

rk3388 06-10-2011 11:38 PM

tbh im acually kinda glad someone isnt afraid to show all their sides. half of them would never raise there voice

I might have known. Pretty typical narrowmindedness. There is no 'type' to hit women. I know that much.......

Agreed. Despite all his bad points, Jay is making fantastic viewing right now

Well, first off your basic assumption is false, so it follows your question based on it is.

I don't care if it is a pillow or a punchbag. Thats not the point.

Jay has an unstable and violent temper. He was not only in a rage following the prank, he was still violently frustrated over an HOUR later, needing to hit something for an extended time. Outside the house it obviously would not have been a pillow used, and that obviously was part of his frustration.

Did you see the other HM faces? They were scared... genuinely disturbed by what they saw (except the vile Louise that is ofc). No one in that house should feel intimidated, controlled by the threat of barely suppressed violent anger from another HM.

cell 06-10-2011 11:44 PM

The best part of the episode was when Jay calmed down and talked to Harry and said "poor Tom is going to suffer, he is the smallest we're going to eat him first" I laughed about a minute straight.

And you know this HOW exactly? He got into the house HOW exactly with this "unstable and violent temper" ?

Don't call my "assumptions" false when you are doing precisely the same

joeysteele 06-10-2011 11:52 PM

Boxers and others do use punchbags to train and vent anger that is true. Jay tonight though was angry and wound up at one individual, Harry.
He felt the need after a fair time to not only shout his head off and throw things all over and in the pool, but to make a threat as to Harry in the diary room, surprisingly ignored by BB and to then have to spend a fair time punching into a pillow/cushion.

All he would likely be thinking was that pillow/cushion was in fact Harry, that is what is vastly different from sportsmen training with punchbags and the inward violent aggression Jay had in him at that time.

Kerry... mine are not assumptions are they?

I witnessed his violent rage tonight, which went on for well over an hour, and thats was just what we saw.

How did he get in to the house? I am asking myself the same thing.

Kerry 06-10-2011 11:57 PM

I think people have the bigger problem because it was Harry. If he was angry at another big male (had there been one) in the house people would have willed on a fight

Bloody fickle
