French Toast
 
Took a notion for some for lunch - haven't had it for what seems like years........ absolutely delish - forgotten how good it can be.

French toast - that's a real blast from the past for me

What food have you had recently, that you haven't had for a long time before that.

What's with the French stuff today?? I've seen full on FB talking about French bread, French knickers, French onion soup etc.. is it national France day or summat??

PLO toast !!! LOL. Where's that come from..... eggy bread I think it's sometimes known as too, but Plo toast is a new one on me!! Brilliant.

My OH calls it eggy bread, I was brought up in Salsburgh before moving to Airdrie and the way we spoke there seemed to stick like calling a clothes horse a winter dyx, french toast/plo toast and lots more I also say ben for through or in :laugh:

I call it eggy bread too

When I saw the title of this thread my mouth started to water..........I love it but yeah always forget about it
