I got thinking last night on how much we have missed out on since becca left.

Admittedly I never really liked her much but I do think I got her all wrong with the whole aden thing. For instance she did say to aden they needed to stay apart so they wern't isolated in the house yet it was he who followed her about like a lap dog.

If it had been aden who had left instead of becca I think the house would have been electric at this moment.

Imagine becca's input in the whole banana shopping thing. she did love to speak her mind.

Or how would she have been with Jay cause I think they would both be battling to be the alpha in the house.

I know it's pointless going over old ground and stuff but I do think we have missed a trick here which also shows me this vote to save thing isn't really working.

I don't think things like banana gate would have happened. One small thing changed would change everything.

I agree 100%

I have said it before, getting rid of Rebeckah was stupid of the voting public. It was comparable to killing JR in Dallas in episode 3 of the first season (older posters will understand what I am saying lol)

Beso 09-10-2011 11:39 AM

Was that the end of Jr? was he only in it for 3 episodes?

nah, it wasnt the end of him, but the point I am making that if they had done it earlier they wouldnt have built up all the 'love to hate' hype. The BB voters don't seem to get that we need villains to make things interesting.

And if Rebeckah had one thing going for her is that she was a GREAT villain :)

I agree with that, but it's partially her fault she was evicted. She should have played the game better and avoid being put up for eviction.

Unfortunatelly you can always expect the most entertaining ones to go.

Dallas is back next year and JR is still alive and well.

Anyway back on topic, I was one of those who wanted her out at the first opportunity, I wanted her to know how much she was disliked and that's what happened. Now a few weeks on I think I would be happy if she had stayed I would be curious to see how the dynamics of the house would be now if she was still there.

Beso 09-10-2011 11:53 AM

yeah I get what you're saying.

I think she'd have been great now. Now that we know what other housemates are like, ie Jay harry and Anton. She would have been class cause she wouldn't have been able to keep quiet..yeah we've surely missed a trick with her.

lol really?

Gotta be worth a watch.

joeysteele 09-10-2011 11:54 AM

With all she said about Anton, where she was totally right, on that one I would have liked to see how she would have brought him down and pulled Aden away from him.

I cannot be a hypocrite now and say I wish she was still in, I voted strongly for Heaven to stay over her, but I do have some regrets now as to that I have to admit.

Roy Mars III 09-10-2011 11:54 AM

This season has only got better since she left.

Oh no, I would have hated her to stay in if aden was still in, my point is the show would have benefited if he had got the nominations and eviction instead of her.

SoBig 09-10-2011 12:01 PM

I did not like Rebeckah, but the show has gotten pretty boring since she has left.

She caused 99% of the drama in the house when she was there.

A little dramatic don't you think. Rebecca is no JR. Just a jumped up desperate little wannabee - no thanks!

no, not 'dramatic' at all, just an analogy. :bored:

..and would she have grown to be a major 'love to hate' villain if allowed to stay? Well, we will never know will we, because she was 'shot' right at the start by the stupid voting public, which was the point being made.

She definitely had potentiol to be a major driver in that house though.

I don't think she is or was a major 'love to hate' villain, you give her too much credit.

She is just another sad, desperate wannabee who immediately played the faux romance and starting arguments cards - she was predictable and boring. No originality whatsoever!!!

For someone with no originality she was still the most talked about housemate during her house stay.

Lets now take the favourite at the bookies which is Alex..becca probably will have had more discussion topics started about her in the week or two she was in than Alex will have for her entire stay.

Rebeckah's game plan was to be herself and be "real". Unfortunately she exposed her rotten self through and through to viewers who decided that the real Rebeckah was a nasty, repellant cow.

And let's not forget it wasn't a vote to evict, although I have no doubt she would have still gone, with a massive majority of the vote. So Rebeckah's supporters need to stop whining and complaining - it's they who didn't do enough to save her.

No ones saying they supported her, infact just about everyone in this thread are saying she was horrid, all people are saying is that the show suffered and is still suffering or would be better now if she was still in.

Rebeckah was the show, it's gotten loads more boring without her drama causing and it didn't help with Heaven going too

Maybe in your world - faux romances and causing arguments = drama and entertainment. Not mine, thankfully.

fruit_cake 09-10-2011 02:09 PM

good thread..all that to save...er...who?

It wouldn't surprise me if we are still talking about Rebeckah in the final week..by then Heaven will be completely forgotten imo

Way to go - get people talking about you, even if it is mostly negative. Nothing like being so desperate for fame. Sad creature that she is!

fruit_cake 09-10-2011 02:14 PM

Rebeckah has risen above all the haters, they just seem like sad desperados now, meanwhile Becky is raking in the $$$$

Has she gone to America?
