What was the point of sending Jem in?
 

The producers clearly hoped she would cause a stir in the house and potentially become a rival to her sister and it's backfired on them. She's had little to no impact on the house and I forget she's even there most of the time. Such a shame because she seemed really promising in her VT and for me so far she's been a total letdown.

I know she's only been in for a week so there's always the slight possibility she could turn into a great housemate but I don't really see it happening now. I wish they would of sent in a female housemate who had no connections with any of the others and who was up for causing some drama. Anyone else feeling disappointed by Jem?

it was always going to be a bad decision, I'd much rather see a hunky guy in there to sweep Faye of her feet

I quite like her. I hated her the first night when she was telling Fay not to smoke etc., but I've grown to think that she is just actually very protective of Faye.
Did you see when Faye was telling her that Aaron said he wanted her to be his girlfriend, and Jem replied "You know he's saying that for 'out there' aswell? ", and she pointed vaguely in the air with her finger.
Faye replied that yeah she knows that, but I think Faye took it us up as Jem saying, "you know he means a relationship outside the house", whereas I took Jem up as meaning he is saying that for the public to see out "out there"
I might have taken her up wrong though.

She doesn't seem afraid to ruffle feathers either. She seemed to fancy Jay a little bit, and didn't think twice about asking him on the training session, even though he was kind of seeing Louise at the time. It did end up upsetting Faye a bit, but they seemed to make hug and make up very quickly.
She's very direct in the way she speaks to people too, and doesn't seem shy even though she's just met them.

She followed Aaron, Harry, and Faye out of the task room. I didn't like when any of them did this, and thought they should have stayed.
I just thought it showed a lack of fear of possible consequences or rows as a result.

Most new housemates are really nice the first week and try to get along and be friends with everyone. I can't see many new housemates quitting a task at the risk of pissing of the rest of the house, in their very first week. They are usually trying to get everyone to like them.

As I said I already said, I don't think she minds ruffling anybody's feathers, and if something annoys her, I think she will have no problem speaking up instantly, and dealing with the person directly.

Fair enough, she hasn't done anything hugely interesting yet, but
it's probably because Aaron and Anton have been bickering so much this week, that she just hasn't had a chance to come into her own yet.

She'd have been better in at the start. They tried to make out she'd shake the dynamics up (which they say every year) and it's failed yet again. Still she's no where near being one the worst new housemate ever. BB7, BB8 & BB11 made sure of that :idc:

She seems like the house 'mother'. I don't really have much of an opinion on her, she's just there.

I don't think she's added anything to the house except evening up the numbers a bit.

Is it easy to tell without live stream?

I wish she'd go off on someone, I'd like to see her in an argument :joker:

It is only the first week, there are 5 people up this for eviction, when she sees who goes she will be better placed to get the mood of things and then cause some chaos.

It would be interesting to see what she does as to Jay, if Anton goes, Jay will be weakened by Anton going and she may really go against him then.

I like her. Wish she was in from start. She is warm and i love the relationship between Faye and her. Good to watch

..as i said in another thread......breaking news.....BIG BROTHER HAVE JUST ANNOUNCED THAT.............AARON AND JEM HAVE BEEN IN A LONG TERM RELATIONSHIP....and shock!..horror.......gasp......!!!! I was just thinking this last night, the house would be no different without her in there. she hasn't lived up to her vt, which I didn't really expect her to. she's a disappointment though.
