On bb bit on the radio last night they said that there were rumours that on friday ch5 had people bused in to cheer for jay, and there were reports of pro jay banners being handed out to the crowd.
This would explain why jay got a real eruption of cheers, but only got the third highest number of votes to save. STAGED.

Why can't they just leave it. It makes me so angry.

I'm hoping it is going to backfire on them....somehow.
I also think that if they were able to doctor the phone vote they would, but as it has to be verified by an independent party, they're stuffed.

By creating a false impression that Jay is loved as much as the crowd made out, it could be a way of getting the Aaron fans to vote more. Maybe the Faye fans too.

I did notice quite a few Jay banners in the audience on Friday, not sure if ch5/endemol would bus people in to support him though it would be too easy for them to be found out :shrug:

It doesn't make any sense for them to do that and then also read out the voting order so that Aaron and Faye knew they were top two, that would just undermine any attempt at trying to make him out to be most popular

wouldnt be surprised they took everoynews banners off of them with a fishfinger when tashie was out wouldnt put it past them to hand out pro jay banners

but then the crowd doesnt mirror the votes at all so i dont know what theyre point is

It was his family that gathered loads of people and got them all there on a coach I read on digital spy, and they handed banners out or something

I am not saying I believe it, but I don't think it's beyond the realm of the possible that a single phone call to Jay's family along the lines of 'gather as many friends and family as you can and we will send a bus to get you all but don't tell anyone we are arranging it' could be made.

It was patrick that said it in the radio chatroom and it was read out but when asked about it he was unable to say where he had heard it or back any of it up i wouldnt take any notice.

Well they weren't your bog standard home made banners were they,and I heard about the bus loads too ,but even if true it didn't acheive anything really

i saw two excact banners from completely different sides of the crowd, but maybe people cheered jay cause maybe they like him ?!
