Haha I love that rainy mood thing, this guy on youtube recommended it during a deadmau5 song and it sounds so good.

Tom4784 16-10-2011 05:33 PM

Tom4784 16-10-2011 05:40 PM

You don't have a fireplace?! How do you enjoy an evening's cheese and wine without one?!

Shaun 16-10-2011 05:43 PM

WHY WOULD STUDENT ACCOMMODATION HAVE A FIREPLACE DEAN?
honestly it's like my landlord went "shelves? PAH. a bath? HAHAHA NO." and then threw in the blandest most uncomfortable sofas in the world.

Tom4784 16-10-2011 05:46 PM

How obscene, please tell me he at least covered the basics like an Ivory piano, a wet room and complimentary Caviar?

Vicky. 16-10-2011 05:50 PM

FFS the rain thing crashed my browser. :bored:

Shaun 16-10-2011 05:50 PM

Your primitive computer can't handle the classiness.

It appears that way. I suppose I shall just go sit in the corner with the rest of the commoners :hmph:

there are plus-sides:
- we only have to pay £50 for water for the whole year
- other utility bills are only every 3 months
- it came with a henry hoover. Yes, the former President of the USA.
- it's less than a 5-minute walk to the train station, middle of town and bus stop.

But what of the cheese and wine?

Shaun 16-10-2011 06:10 PM

we've got cheese in the fridge, but we had to get that ourselves  and the wine never lasts the night we buy it...

Wet rooms are posh :nono:

My mum has one in her loft conversion (she also has a conservatory ) and its just a full room where water comes from the ceiling instead of a shower head. But what noone realised when they designed it was that you can't have your towel in the wet room with you, you have to leave it outside which is effectively at the top of a slight of stairs so you have to open the door stark bollock naked and its usually freezing. I bet that wouldn't be any good in student accomodation :idc:

She used to have a fireplace as well (not in the wet room) until her old dog went a bit too close and set her tail on fire :laugh3:

Shaun 16-10-2011 07:30 PM

I was making a joke about a room being very 'wet' :(

Smithy 16-10-2011 07:32 PM

Couldn't possibly know what you mean, you may have to spell this joke out

Shaun 16-10-2011 07:43 PM

Actually there may be some truth in it - one of last year's tenants came around to pick up old post and he told us about who lived in whose room last year... apparently the guy in my room was a manslag. And to think during the inventory check the woman told me my mattress was stained :(
