Are C5 taking the p*** out of us viewers?

It just seems that way to me, they've done all these things:

1.Canceled live feed
2.Said they wouldn't be releasing voting numbers
3.No punishments for people talking about nominations
4.The crowd on a Friday night aren't allowed to take any banners in that don't support their fave
5.Allowing Jay & Anton to watch LF
6.Last year they mentioned the fans forums on the main show this year they seem to be against us rather than with us
7. On BBBOTS they seem to have bad opinions of people who suddenly find themselves out soon after

Now to top all this off they are allowing two of their favorite housemates to be saved from the public vote because they knew one of them would go. Not only this however, they are allowing them to watch Live Feed when we can't!!

I just think it seems like C4 had a really close relationship with the fans of the show and seems like C5 couldn't give a sh**.

My answer to the question is yes,C5 are taking the piss out of us.

the biggest thing they did were make 90% of the housemates seem horrible

Probably

Not me, though - I haven't watched any part of the current series, nor read much about it, either ..... :idc:

With competitions every week it's more like X Factor than Big Brother.

i think they should try doing bbusa challenges and their own kind , that would be ace :)

saigon 18-10-2011 03:05 AM

Not me.

alot of the bb team left last year, its going to take channel 5 a long time to learn what fans want, infact the shows on its knees nothing can save it.

We'll find out over the next few days...

I really don't like this twist this week at all, it has been a massive mistake not to give us live feed. I feel at least 40% of the highlights we get are not truly representative of what is actually happening in the house.

The nominations should just stand and Jay and Anton should not, just as neither any other 2 housemates should not either, be able to change the housemates nominations from their votes.

Not a good start to the week for BB at all this one and when you hear a presenter like Emma saying she didn't understand the twist yet too, wel, sorry but that's is beyond all reason. I am in part agreement with the OP opening post and I was a stalwart of Channel 5 having BB, the producers though I think, may have made a big mistake this week with this twist.

Mumbles 18-10-2011 10:07 AM

Is it Channel 5 that produce the show or Endomol though? My understanding is that Endomol produce the main show and Channel 5 produce bit On The Side, which is why Emma doesn't know what's going on. Presumably, this is what the main show would have been like whether it was on Channel 5 or still on Channel 4. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong though.

I hate this twist though if they are genuinely messing with nominations, it's the one part of the show that they should stick to and not manipulate.

Bojangles 18-10-2011 10:18 AM

Least we have a BB,different format different channel.I'm finding it refreshing.

Gary2010 18-10-2011 10:19 AM

Yes they are ! no more votes from me, they are not getting my money untill they entertain me, what a load of rubbish.

Jordan. 18-10-2011 10:39 AM

I agree. It seems this year they've had a real 'our way or no way' attitude and don't care what we want.

This is why I wished it was still on C4 because they actually tried to make changes if we slagged them off
