Do you find the romances entertaining?
 

I'm getting sick of both Faye/Aaron and Jay/Louise taking up about half of the HL shows with their ridiculous romances :bored: Bored of Faye and Aaron falling out every other day then making up, or of them talking about what they think of each other, or what Jem thinks of it all etc. And I'm bored of Jay and Louise just telling each other how great they are, and Jay just writing a stupid message every few minutes, with Louise saying how romantic it is every single time.

I find Jay a lot more entertaining and interesting away from her but now they've got this whole showmance going on it's pretty much what most of his air time is focused on, hopefully this task will be good for him.

Agreed, I find them very boring. Even though Aaron is still my favourite, I would be lying if I said the whole Aaron/Faye thing didn't put me off him a little.

I hate them. I don't find them real at all, just a ploy to win over some of the more naive members of the public. I also hate the fact they take up so much air time when there are clips on the site which show some more interesting qualities of the housemates yet they never show them in the highlights.

It depends, I don't seek them out. JJJ bored me last year, but Aaron and Faye are two interesting characters both as individuals and as a pair. I think it's the fact that they are different (Aaron seems slightly posh, quite middle class, detached and aloof, enigmatic and older while Faye is a Brummie seems working class, emotional, what you see is what you get and young). Plus they DO have chemistry.

Jay and Faye are supposed to be the 'sexier' couple but they are both boring.

I don't like romances in the BB house at all - they take over the HL show and it gets very tedious in my opinion.

I adore Aaron and Faye.

Probably the only showmance I can stand, hope they keep it up on the outside, as a pair they are hilarious... the juice segment amused me.

I like the Faye/Aaron one, hate the Louise/Jay Fauxmance

The Aaron and Faye one is ok because they do more than write stupid messages for eachother and can actually hold a conversation

Even they've started doing that though with Aaron doing the A4F, it was only made funny by Anton claiming it was him who'd done it :laugh:

Neither. The soundtracked slo mo fauxmance montages actually make me feel a little ill.

But hey, it's working for the HMs involved right? The public are always sucked in by stuff like this.

Big Brother romances are one of the things I dislike about the show as a whole, not just the two that are featured in this series. What really does my head in is when BB start to follow a romance, we have the camera's close in on the duvets and then we're fed these subtitles.


Is it real, is it fake ? Will they or wont they ? I couldn't give a rats arse either way, just focus on something else.

I thought that Aaron had done it to take the piss out of Jays suave moves :laugh:

The problem with romances is that all the airtime a housemate involved in one gets is focused on it.

I liked the Faye & Aaron one but, I wish that Faye would tell Aaron to push off now. I think that Aaron’s brooding tantrum was all about strategy, after the eviction night voting was revealed, I think that Aaron is suffering from Emperor Syndrome.
He seems to think that he is really the winner and that Faye is potentially his main rival to the 100K that he keeps going on about.

Jay & Louise (Jay-Lou) more like (Fat Boy- Slim), vulgar Jay & Gangsters Moll wannabe Louise.

I don't like any of the romances, but the producers must think everyone wants to see it cos it's all we ever bloody get to see in the highlights, and wtf is the slow lovey songs all about :bored:

I like Faaron but I do wish that C5 would stop using their 'relationship' to take up the majority of the show. It's much better to watch them in the little videos they release with a tiny fraction on the HL show verses them taking up 3/4 of the show as well as the videos.

I mean the eviction episode on Friday was literally completely focused on them! I do think they're cute together and I wish them the best regardless of what happens but I do wish they didn't focus all their attention on them.

Dont mind Faye and Aaron together but by no means am I entertained by them
They all should just split up

It's up to the single/ floaters to be entertaining. Jem has her relationship with Faye. Alex really doesn't do much, even her bits relegated to the website are really meh. In earlier series she would have been out week 1 ala Bonneh BB7 and Lynne BB3

I hate the romances - fake or otherwise - although these days they are ALWAYS fake. Anyone who actually believes in them is seriously deluded.

I'm not a fan of bb romances regardless of who is in them!
