Current pop girls that will still be around in 2016
 

Which out of these female pop artists do you think will still be around making records in 2016? Should be a multi-poll this time :laugh:

Damn I've included two Kelly Clarksons :bawling: I knew I'd mess something up, anyway pls ignore the second Kelly option.

I think Britney & Pink will probably retire in the next few years and just be mum's for a while, or try something different.

Beyonce too, so idk why I voted for her :suspect:, Ke$ha and Sharkira could go either way, but Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera, Avril Lavigne & Leona will probs just fade away/move into something else

Kelly's been around for 10 years and her most recent album is her best, i don't see her going anywhere in the next 5 years :idc:

Beyonce wants to be a mom so I can see her taking a long break from music, plus 4's underperformed big time so her management won't be pushing her for a new record anytime soon. P!nk might take a long hiatus too so I don't expect a new album from her in the near future. Ke$ha is a manufactured artist who's been created by her label as a result of the current popular trend (i.e Auotune) so I can't see her having much longetivity, I don't even know if she'll make it past album 3. Katy will never have the same success she's had with TD again but I could potentially still see her around if she adapts her style to a more adult audience. Leona, JLo and Nicki Minaj I don't see still being around, JLo's only become popular again because of Idol and even now her singles are underperforming. Maybe Avril too because her recent singles have flopped big time and her album sales for Goodbye Lullaby were mediocre at best. The rest I see still being around, I don't see Britney making a new album in a while but I think she'll still be relevant in the music industry.

Rihanna will release her 38th album in early 2016, with the 39th coming in June of 2016. The lead single of her 38th album will be her 27th number one in the UK.

Madonna will be back in some new raunchy video with hardly any clothes on probably.

Katy Perry - for some reason the US love her so she'll be around for at least another 8-10 years...

Lady Gaga - As much as I love her, I think people might get tired of her by around 2016 so maybe if she takes a break for a while and makes a big comeback around 2019/2020.

Britney - I dont think Britney will ever stop tbh lol if shaving her head and having a public breakdown doesnt do it, I dont know what will.

Pink - She might go on a break for a few years as shes got a baby now but im 100% sure she will make a comeback sometime around 2014/2015.

Adele - Only just achieved huge success so shes not going anywhere ..:(

J-Lo - Im sure she'll find someway to re-brand herself and release a new album off of the back of it.

Christina - She'll never be as big as she used to be, but as she went on a break a couple of years ago, she'll do a J-Lo comeback, from diva to settled down housewife sort of thing.

Avril - Probably release more fail albums untill she gets hit by a bus or something..

Rhianna - Shes never going to leave :(

Beyonce - Might take a break to be a mum for a few years but comeback when shes shed the baby weight. (or re-brand herself as Momma B or something)

Nicki - Shes quite new so will stick around for awhile

Ke$ha, Kelly, Katy, Gaga, Adele, Xtina, Rihanna, Beyoncé and Nicki will all defo still be here.

Those are my choices. I bet Rihanna'll be on album #10 by then too.

And of course Madonna will still be around by then.

Shakira is still hella popular in the places she's popular (haha that sounded very poorly worded) but I don't see her having another 5 years.
